Had a recent cleaning done here, the hygienist and the dentist were quite judgmental. The hygienist kept shaking her head and Telling me I that i have heavy build up of plaque and that I only brush my teeth for 20 seconds! She went on and on the whole time At the end, I finally told her I brush with my electric toothbrush for 6 mins every night and I floss everyday. Regardless, some people are more prone to plaque buildup. Don’t make those types of assumptions and attitudes to make people feel bad. Plus, this hygienist told the dentist I have a lot of plaque and it’s been 8 months since my last service. The dentist then turn to me and said with a very judgy tone of voice You really need to keep up with your appointments ok? I explained to her that Normally I do religiously but I had a recent change of job and the new insurance didn’t kick in for 3 months. I can’t help it if I have to wait on insurance. And rescheduling appointments meant pushing back a month or two. It’s not like you can get an appointment the next day. There’s no need to judge people without knowing what is going on in their lives. Not everyone is as privileged. Being in the medical profession, you guys should know better than to make assumptions and judgements. Please reeducate your staff or you’ll start losing clients.
