Dr Battista really has tried to solve the severe pains in my neck and back. I thought he was patient with me. He tried one injection which really didn’t help. So in June he tried a different injection which did help some. He didn’t brush me off like my previous pain management Dr did. He is very pleasant and helpful. I would recommend him.

Dr Battista is a very kind compassionate MD! He listened to me and answered my husband and my questions very well ??

His talking with patients is is horrible. If something about your health is bad he is nasty about telling you and tells you to go to someone else.

Worst place to go for pain I was in so much pain I couldn’t walk and they didn’t give me no pain medication Then they kicked me out because I refuse to take steroid medication

I HAVE BEEN GOING TO THIS PAIN CLINIC FOR AT LEAST 4 YRS........DR BATTISTA IS GREAT, I WENT THROUGH MANY PROCEDURES AND EVENTUALLY I ENDED UP WITH A STIMULATOR, WITH THE STIMULATOR I ALSO RECEIVED A COUPLE PRESCRIPTIONS, THEY HAVE ALWAYS MADE ME FEEL GREAT!!! I FIGURED AFTER 4 YRS THAT WE PRETTY MUCH GOT ALONG, AFTER A WHILE DR BATTISTA HAD PRETTY MUCH DECIDE THAT THEY COULDNT DO MUCH MORE FOR ME, SO I STARTED GOING THRU AMY GEMMELLI, BASICALLY FOR SCRIPTS........WELL LAST FRIDAY SEPT 7TH, I HAD AN APPT , I FIGURED I WAS GONNA HAVE A DRUG TEST!!! I WAS FINE WITH THAT BECAUSE I HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE....WELL APPARENTLY I DIDNT PEE ENOUGH, SO I WENT BACK IN THE BATHROOM FOR LIKE 15 MINS......ALL I DID WAS DRIP, SO I PUT MY SAMPLE WHERE IT SHOULD BE, AND WHEN I CAME OUT OF THE BATHROOM, THE CLERK GAVE ME A CARD FOR MY NEXT APPT, I FIGURED I WAS ALL SET....SO I LEFT AND MY MEDICAL TRANSPORT WAS WAITING FOR ME!!! SO NOW ON SEPT 12TH, THE CALLED ME TO DISCHARGE ME FROM THE CLINIC.......APPARENTLY I WASNT SUPPOSSED TO LEAVE, IT WAS A SIMPLE MISTAKE (MY CAB WAS WAITING) SO NOW ITS ON MY RECORD THAT I REFUSED A DRUG TEST........WELL I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW THAT I NEVER REFUSED ANY DRUG TEST.......I HAVE NOTHING TO HIDE.......I BEGGED THE GIRL ON THE PHONE (SARAH) AND SHE WAS SO RUDE!!! I AM DEVASTATED , YOU CANT JUST PULL THE RUG FROM UNDER SOMEONE JUST LIKE THAT!!!!!! AND NOW PRETTY SOON I WILL BE GOING THRU WITHDRAWL AND IT GETS SO BAD I WILL END UP IN THE HOSPITAL.......YOU WOULD THINK AFTER ALL THESE YRS THEY WOULD GIVE ME A BREAK, I HAVE NEVER HAD A BAD TEST.....MY HEART IS BREAKING BECAUSE I REALLY LIKE GOING THERE AND THEY TREATED ME SO GOOD, IM SORRY I MADE A MISTAKE. BUT I GUESS THEY DONT ALLOW FOR MISTAKE

prior to seeing this doctor my clinic had closed. i was kept comparitively pain free with adirondack pain med. Immediately he wanted to put me on embeda, a morphine which i tols him made me sick so he then puts me on a med my insurance wont pay for and eentually has his way and am on morphine. He did change it after my c/o nausea. Yhen put me on the absolute lowest dose of zohydro possibe. Again i had to egt auth from yhe indurance co. It does not work at all. When i called to state this fact and ask for something for breakthru i was refused til my next appt approx 1 1/2 months away. Btw. I am a 71 yr old woman who has had hip surgery and other back problems. I even was injected and that caused such intense itcing i thought i would go insane. Aill I want at this stage in my life is ti be faitly comfortable, to get my chores done, to be able to wlak arounf]d the grocery store. this dr shows me nothing and more importantly he doesnt care. it would also be nice to have a medication i dont have to battle with my ins co and pay a higher copay

I have had no problems at all with this office. The front desk could be more friendly and considerate but they are I have to say rude on the phone or in person. Dr. Battista is a great Neurologist. Takes time with you and is fantastic is this field of health care. Very difficult to find a good Neurologist here in Syracuse. Great bedside manner. I could not ask for anyone better. A++++
