1. Husband had been in considerable pain, tried flushing it and chose to wait because of a scheduled appointment. 2. After arriving at office, dealing with construction at handicapped entrance, and waiting about 10 minutes, we were told they didn't have the catheter size and could not do a catheter change. 3. We told them how much pain he was in and they said the catheter should come tomorrow and they would call us. 4. We got the call Thursday to come in for the catheter change. However, my husband had to go to the Emergency Department on Wednesday with a very bad Urinary Tract Infection. He had to go by ambulance because of his weakened condition, pain, confusion, etc. My husband and I feel that the office showed little care or concern with regard to my husband's health. . . and this is only one instance as I could list more. If the office had done a urine sample while he was there, perhaps things would not have been so critical and I would not be writing this review.

We went to the Taft road facility for a procedure with Dt Salzhaur. The place is clean, the staff is excellent and efficient. They have an active schedule board where you can track the progress of your loved one while in surgery and the nurses keep up on the progress and promptly come and get you. The doctors come and talk with you before and after. This is how a practice should run! It made for a fantastic experience, considering... Kudos to Syracuse Urology!

I have never had a physician spend the amount of time with meas Dr. Salzhauer. Both he and his staff are able to comfort you even with the hardest of news. He has a very good bed side manner and cares about his patients. Elan Salzhauer is a great physician and I would recommend him to anyone.

A+++. Love Dr Salzhauer & his staff. He diagnosed an issue that was causing me severe pain for over 2 years, that other MD's blew off. And I am an RN. He, literally, saved my kidney! The nicest, most thorough & most compassionate doctor I have ever dealt with.

I was in pain for more than 1 1/2 years & ignored by another top urologist in Syracuse, Dr Salzhauer was a life saver. He took me right to the OR, treated my problem & I have not had pain since. VERY compassionate & caring. Takes time to listen to you. I am a nurse & he is, by far, one of the best doctors I have ever interacted with. If you need a urologist call him, NOW!

THIS IS THE BEST DOCTOR ANYONE COULD EVER HAVE. HE IS VERY METICULOUS AND KNOWS HIS FIELD VERY WELL. I COULDN'T HAVE ASKED FOR A BETTER DOCTOR WHEN I WAS DIAGNOSED WITH KIDNEY CANCER HE DID EVERYTHING IN HIS POWER TO TAKE IT OUT IN A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME. I WILL ALWAYS BE BEHOLDING TO HIM FOR THIS CARE. IT WASN'T AS SCARRY AS IT COULD HAVE BEEN WITH HIS HELP.

I was diagnosed with a kidney tumor and was understandably very scared. Dr. Salzhauer was with me every step of the way. His confidence and expertise helped me through a very difficult time in my life. I am forever grateful for his skill and caring.
