Unprofessional and rude
Dr. Smith is a wonderful Pediatrician and I would highly recommend her.
I waited months, I got a swap and time off just to be seen. I was very excited, finally I'll find help, I haven't been feeling well ect! She cancels the day of. I'm beyond upset at the moment. It took a lot of obstacles to get the day off.
I haven't got time for the pain! Dr. Emily Smith has the worse bedside manners and the communication and customer service skills. Dr. Emily Smith had a very moody personality and her mood swings often affects how she treats her patients. Her front desk staff is no better. This office is down right nasty! This office, their behavior is unacceptable. When you're sick you don't have time for the pain and this office adds insults to your injury or illness. The front desk and back office staff are horrible about refilling medications, calling in your prescriptions and making your lab appointments. Don't bother to call Dr. Emily Smith after hours if their incompetent staff doesn't phone in your much needed medication as her attitude is totally put out by your call. We have choices in our healthcare providers and both me and my spouse dumped this worthless doctor and her office. Buyer beware of Dr. Emily Smith and her staff!
As a person that hates going to the doctor I was very glad to find Dr. Smith. The practice is professional, timely, and straight forward. In the age of modern medicine, it is great to have a doctor that knows me as more than a patient number and a chart.
Now we are halfway into 2015. The last time I saw Dr. smith she spent some one on one time with me...delightful. However I was told the office would contact me about follow up lab tests...(3 months re check) that was 5 months ago. Have left a couple voicemails but no response. I feel Dr. smith is somewhat out of the loop from her office staff AND the new computer programs. Can't say that all that s Dr. Smiths fault..but....there does seem to be a serious lack of communication AND Follow thru.Possibly her practice has grown to an extent that she needs more assistance and patient advocates. ?? I like her very much but do not feel confident...
I feel Dr. smith is a very knowledgeable MD, and is very professional in her own right. She is far from warm and fuzzy, but that is ok. Not looking for a new best friend. The problems, I believe, are within the office staff and management.Phone calls to, and messages left, for Dr. smith are never returned....I'm waiting 3 plus weeks now for a response, after leaving several messages. Afraid there is a terrible lack of communication/follow thru..from within the office to Dr. smith. Not sure where that responsibility lies..but the end result is that the patient suffers for the lack of follow thru. Also, had lab work 6 months ago...did not hear anything from Dr. smiths office regarding results...thought that must mean all is well..AND..saw Dr. smith 2 weeks ago, and lab results were not addressed even then. All of a sudden I receive call from nurse (voicemail) that she'd like me to come in to go over "recent" lab results. Huh? Only labs were six months ago, and suddenly now came to Dr. smiths attention...? I returned call from nurse, she was with a patient, and staff on phone said she'd give the nurse my message and would call me right back. That was 9 hours ago, and office is now closed. Gosh, sure hope there isn't something serious in that lab work of sooooo long ago, that went by the wayside until now.So....I have very mixed emotions of the practice, but do feel root of problems are in lack of communication within office staff, resulting in lack of follow thru...which is risky (and frustrating)to patients. There is no sense of urgency at this practice. But.....I feel Dr. smith, herself, is a talented MD...but means nothing if the patient can't get appropriate and timely care.We are considering looking for another primary care physician.
Same as the above poster, the nurse is unpleasant and Dr. Smith makes it abundantly clear that she's just there so you can get your scrip and get out. Don't be fooled by the fact that it's in a nice office building, this place sucks.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
