Dr. Spalding has been my eye specialist for almost 5 years. I had first seen another specialist for 2+ years; she sent me to Dr. Spalding. I like his style, as his manner is calming. He explains all he is doing, and what he hopes to accomplish. He seems to be very knowledgeable about my condition, and keeps up with new treatments. I trust him greatly.

I had a fully detached retina that was repaired 3 months ago. I was assigned to Dr. Spalding for follow-up care at the Watertown location and was extremely pleased. I had a great experience with Dr. Spalding and his staff. Be aware wait times can be long as they "fit in" emergency retinal detachments. They did this for me when I was referred there, so be patient. Dr. Spalding always apologizes for long waits, but don't worry you never fell rushed during the appointment. He will answer any questions you have and is extremely knowledgeable. Thank you Dr. Spalding !
