List of Bhanumathy Vinayagasundaram's Reviews
Dr.Vanaya isn't rude, that's her personality. She's a very nice caring Dr. She wants to know exactly what's going on and takes care of it.
I had issues with gaining a virtual visit via e-check, not even sure if that's 100% fixed. We wound up doing a telephone call and the whole point of the appointment was for me to gain a referral to an allergist because Advantage care does not have anymore allergists at any of their locations. Dr. Vinaya told me "No" that she won't give me a referral and also only gave me one refill for a medication that I explained to her why I needed..for allergies and would benefit for gaining a few refills. I then had completed the survey they send after and a lady called to follow up telling me it was her office and told me that Dr. Vinaya had provided the best care. I said how is that possible when two other doctors specifically told me to see an allergist because I have allergy induced asthma and they recommend that I see one. I had to practically beg Dr. Vinaya for an inhaler because mine had expired. Horrible service all around, Will not be going to Advantage care/ACPNY or Dr. Vinaya anymore
She was "ok" at first. I started having vomiting episodes. Weightloss no appetite pain 3 years ago. She seemed to kind of dismiss it to stress anxiety depression etc. Gave me a referral for an advantage care gastro who did not help me one bit. I asked for a new referral to a diff dr. All of a sudden I cant see specialists outside of advantage care (meanwhile my neurologist is not advantage care) SHE TOLD ME TO FIND A NEW PRIMARY! I lost faith in doctors. But I found a new PCP who LISTENED AND CARED!!!!!! Thank God! She sent me to a good gastro who CARED and am now diagnosed. I also have SMA syndrom due to the result of my weightloss and need surgery. Thanks alot! Dont waste your time with any advantage care doctor!!
At first she was "ok" I have been suffering a mystery illness for 3 years vomiting constantly. It was blamed on anxiety, stress, depression, etc. The gastro she finally sent me to in the summer of 2019 (dr Batool with advantage care) did an endoscopy and sonogram test and then blamed my anxiety meds. She refused to help me further. I asked DR V. For a new gastro she told me she can only refer me ...
I do NOT recommend Dr. Vinaya to family or friends. She kind of dismisses the concerns you have about your health. For example I am in my early 20s and I told her multiple times that I am abnormally tired even though I ALWAYS get AT LEAST 8-9 hours of sleep. She dismissed my concerned and it turns out I has Lymes! I have problems with my back, she prescribes pills and sends me on my way after asking generic questions. She is extremely unsympathetic and does not care for her patients. Unfortunately since I was still in college, it took me years to switch primary care doctor (after my entire family switched).
Highly rude
My parents and I had Dr. Vinaya for a few years and we all switched. She doesn't explain things, answer your questions or care about you, for that matter. I told her I was having trouble breathing and she basically told me I was fine as long as I had my inhaler (that was initially prescribed 10 years ago). I told her I was having panic attacks and she flat out told me to go see a psychologist and ended the appointment right there. I avoid going to the doctor because I don't want to see her.
Hopeless Doctor ever, has the worst medical staff specially her medical assistant is very rude. Going to this doctor is a waste of time and money.
Dr. Vinayagasundaram is such a pleasant doctor. She explains all health issues regarding the patient. She provides excellent information and service. She gives patients time to ask any questions they may have.
when i went her clinic & try to explain her my med problem she was so mean & make fun on me, front of my wife is witness

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
