I wish I could give this dr zero stars, This man told my wife she had to lose weight and there was nothing wrong with her, he said maybe she was stress eating, even though she has her 4 tumors on her thyroid gland, her tumors on her adrenal gland and has obviose symptoms of Cushing Disease not to mention her reactive hyper/and hypogylycemia it took another dr that actually performed more testing todiagnose her...young obnoxiose dr,

I was truly impressed by the level of care Dr. Abelev provides, he literally took over 30 minutes with me and made sure to understand everything about my life, risk factors, etc. Then the next day he called me himself, not his secretary or nurse, and told me the results of the blood work. I don't remember the last time I was treated like that by a medical professional. Will recommend him to everyone.

Dr. Abelev is a true gem of a doctor, and I am not overstating that. He treated me for PCOS and a thyroid nodule that was suspicious for cancer over the course of 2 years going on 3. I always felt that I could bring up all my questions to him at each visit, and he would respond with empathy. He discovered my nodule at my first visit with him and immediately started helping me manage it, especially when it became clear that it was suspicious for cancer. It is clear in the way that he speaks that he has a lot of knowledge and knows how to disseminate it. He is genuine about getting you the treatment you need, and is willing to advocate for you. He no longer works at a health center that is close to me, but if he did, there is no doubt in my mind that I would continue seeing him for many years.
