Substandard - unacceptable standard of care. Absolutely the worst ED physician ever. My daughter who is a physician presented to the ED with a low-grade fever, persistent nonproductive cough, vomiting, gastroenteritis, headache, lethargy and overall malaise +3days. She has an autoimmune illness and Chrons. She is also on the spectrum/neuroatypical. He spends less than 5 minutes with her. Leaves her to the devices of the imcompentent unattentive nursing staff that left her freezing with a call button unreachable over a couple hours and gave her meds that she clearly cannot have, due to her atypical neurology - and they made her more hyper, the pain worse and it was if they had injected her with speed. He NEVER did come in to discharge her. The nurse said everything checked out ok - only to have my daughter, admitted emergently to a Level 1 Trauma the next evening with bacterial menningitis! We did get the labs and not from the rural hospital in illinois after the new york doctors had to call incessantly to get the info
