Dr Bucan is always thorough and when specialists are needed she is quick to arrange with alternative docs.

I absolutely love Dr. Buchan. She is gentle and kind, empathetic and a good listener.

Have been seeing Dr. Buchan for several years. However, this year I am very disappointed. I discussed a problem with her and then she scheduled me for a follow up visit in one year. When I had to schedule a follow up for the problem within a few weeks she looked at me and said she didn't know what to do. This didn't make me feel very good.

Worst "doctor" I've come across in a really long time. First, last, and only visit I plan on having with her. Rude and annoyed. She made me feel that I was bothering her by being sick and that she really could care less when in fact I was paying her for the privilege! Spend your time and your money somewhere else. Don't waste either on this one.

After a ER visit with no explanation for severe pain, she was my follow up. She seemed irritated before we even got in the room. I have unexplained symptoms which she seemed to think was something I was doing just to annoy her. She snapped that there was nothing she would do to help me. After years of chronic pain, it was heartbreaking to hear another cry for help get shot down. I ended up in tears. The real unprofessional part comes where she kicked me out of her practice.... apparently BECAUSE I had cried. They told me the reason I had been taken out of their computers as because I had been upset with her she didn't think it would "work out". She made me cry, then kicked me out of her practice for it! She left a medically fragile person without care without even the courtesy of notifying me of her decision, I had to call the office. I'm just glad my healthcare doesn't depend on such an apathetic doctor who thinks a literal cry for help should be met with discontinued care.

Dr. Buchan was very attentive and thorough, I highly recommend her. Unlike the doctor before her, she does NOT make you wait for an hour and a half after your appointment time before seeing you.

Dr. Buchan --fantastic ~ have been seeing her for25 years... I trust her more than anyone else I know. She is an awesome person... office staff is very good, too. blood guy is also excellent. nurses as well... Whole office is above any other. I'm 80 years old...

Dr. Buchan is an outstanding physician. She is professional, knowledgeable, experienced, and very personable. Dr. Buchan is SIX STARS in my book.

Debra Buchan, MD is the most unprofessional medical provider I have ever encountered. She became completely unhinged and vicious when I asked her for further explanation of a concerning lab report result. Rather than addressing my question with a medical answer, she suggested I look it up on the internet and find another doctor because she doesn’t have the patience to go over something of no consequence and because she has really sick patients to deal with. REALLY. Dr. Buchan you make ME sick.

I was assigned to Dr. Buchan after the practice fired my favorite and most attentive dr, Dr. Jane Hudson. I've seen Dr Buchan four times this year. She is always rushing and doesn't listen. She seems like she has her head in the clouds and as you are explaining your symptoms she looks at you like a deer in headlights. I'm very disappointed with her and the practice in Manlius (which I have been going to for almost 10 years. I am actively seeking a new doctor.
