List of Pm Pediatrics. Long Island's Reviews
Everyone there was very nice. However, most times I call, nobody answers the phone. On top of that, I got tested on a Friday for Covid and was told I would get my results the following day. On Sunday, I got a call from contact tracing saying I had Covid. I never heard from the office and there were no results in my portal. Now it is nearly a week later and I still have not been contacted from this facility nor have results in my portal. Very strange. Be careful if you get tested here.Update: 11 days later and no results posted. Reached out to the email address that was given in response to this review and did not hear back.
I would give 0 stars if possible. I followed the directions online that stated you must have a tele visit with a doctor prior to coming in for Covid-19 testing. Upon my arrival to put my name on the waiting list, I was never asked about the tele visit. When they brought me into the room, the medical assistant asked me if I wanted a strep test?? Meanwhile I had specially wrote in my registration the reason for my visit was for Covid-19 testing. This place is so unorganized you can barely call it a medical facility. Then the medical assistant took my nasal swab for rapid PCR test and said the doctor would be. The “doctor” looked as if she was 20 years old with colorful long nails. She began my exam and halfway through when I brought up the tele visit I had, she immediately stopped the exam and took off the gloves. She stated to me that she was “confused as to why she was there because I would not need to be seen by a doctor if I had already done the tele visit”. She then proceeded to tell me to hold on and left the room. I was sitting there for 20 minutes with no explanation as to what was going on. I had to take it upon myself to leave the room and speak to a receptionist at the desk and I explained to her I was never told that I should not have been seen by a doctor and I am very confused as to why the “doctor” would just leave me in the room. I then see that same “doctor” on another computer 2 seats away from the lovely receptionist and the doctor is ONLINE CLOTHES SHOPPING!! I wish I was joking. She absolutely heard everything I was saying to the receptionist and instead of being a professional to explain what was going on to me she ignored me and left me there to feel embarrassed and have to figure the situation out for myself. All of this just for the receptionist to tell me that I am fine to go home. Who knows how long I would have been sitting in that room if I had not got up and said something. And no I was never told to leave or that I was free to go by anyone. The doctor did not do her part because the second she knew I had the tele visit, she knew she was not getting paid. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional. If anyone from this facility actually cares about their terrible staff, the doctor was very short, female, had long nails, dark hair with a medium skin tone, brown eyes and glasses. I hope she gets reprimanded for this and a lesson on patient hospitality. Her career will not be successful if this is how she treats all her patients.
Obviously wait time is extremely long for a walk in granted it still during Covid, but not to be seen at all that inexcusable. I have nothing nice to say, just wish they can feel as helpless as I did for my son.(the whole stuff)Obviously owner gonna comment I’m honestly looking forward to be speaking with that individual in person.
Nothing quite like waiting over an hour after specifically making an appointment, to be told that even with a Child who's only 1 can't have both parents in the room. The hospitals allow both parents in the room with a baby that young. Absolutely don't understand . What's the point of the appointment only to be seen over an hour late
Absolutely terrible wait time. 2 1/2 hours for a walk in visit. I will never go here again. This turned into an ER visit. They kept saying we were next on the list and kept bumping people in front of us.
… so disappointed.
Longest wait every time we come here. Whether you have appointment or walk in. Been here over an hour waiting. Poorly run.
Can honestly say this was tha worst experience at a medical facility. Do not trust these people with your child's health. The PA didn't do a full exam on my infant and told me she didn't know what was wrong but refused to call a MD to help her.
Embarrassing how they can take over 2 hours to see 5 patients. What a joke! The emergency room would have been quicker!
My 20 month old granddaughter was brought here yesterday by my daughter after she was called at work by her daycare provider that she was running a fever, lethargic & had a runny nose. Unable to get through to her pediatrician & trying to skip the ER she brought her to PM, just for the so-called PA to brush her off as having a 102 fever is her TEETHING. She suggested Motrin & rest. My daughter brought her to Good Sam, she was triaged, temp was 103 by this point & she was admitted within the hour. She's now on IV antibiotics and was diagnosed with SEPSIS! If you love your kids PLEASE don't bring them to this godforsaken place! If my daughter listened to that idiot PA my granddaughter could've DIED last night with how bad off she was! How do you call yourself a pediatric PA and you can't tell teething from an actual illness?!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
