Dr. Mitgang has poor skills in explaining the problem and providing help. Also this office seemed to forget to include my in-office payment (75% of the total bill) when they billed my insurance and 7 weeks later when they sent me the bill at home. When I called the billing dept. the clerk before even I told her why I called, she offered to correct the bill to include my office payment. Why wasn't the office payment included BUT only when I called they made the correction? Advise-Review your bill for services performed and Don't forget your in-office payments.

Wow! Nobody wants to go see the doctor but if you need an orthopedist, Dr Mitgang is the best. He is kind, caring, patient, and gentle. His knowledge base is also beyond compare. I took m 87 year old mom to see him and he treated her as if she was his mom. I have seen him many times in the past, but was amazed at how patient he was with my mom and how at ease she felt. Aside from that his knowledge about treatment for her was outstanding. It is rare to find a practitioner who is both brilliant and humble all at the same time. I would highly recommend him for any of your orthopedic needs.

Dr Mitgang is an amazing kind caring patient orthopedist. He took his time in examining my 87 year old mom and treated us like family. His knowledge and treatment plan made us both feel better and hopeful. I would recommend him highly for any orthopedic needs. He is that rare combination of brilliance and humility! Thank you. I was very nervous to have Bi-Lateral Carpal Tunnel Surgery. I had some extra help at home for a few days and was worried I wouldnt be better in time for 2 young kids. Dr Mitgang did an amazing job on my hands. I had near Zero Pain the next day just a little sore on the site. I was very greatful for being reffered to him and would recommend him to anyone with carpal tunnel.

i think dr mitgang was 100 stars after my initial visit! took more time to explain my wrist recovery break, removed the pins from my arm like a picasso and had the compassion like that of a family member. PUT HIS NAME IN LIGHTS!!!!!

Factory kind doctor. Very bad bedside manners. He didn’t even bothered in sending in a prescription for NSAIDs to my pharmacy knowing that I was in so much pain. The answering service told me I needed to wait for the after hours service. Very poor customer service. So disappointed with this practice.

I came in for an appointment for pain in my knee. As per my insurance plan he was unable to do anything but send me for an MRI. I approval was denied because no medical necessity was given to the insurance company. As of 4-15-19 i have not received a phone call from the office and I have made many phone calls the the person who is in charge of auths but she claims she is waiting on the doctor to do a peer to peer with the insurance company and I am still in severe pain!!!

I fell and broke my femur just below hip. I was taken to emergency. The next day I was sent to surgery and met Dr. Mitgang. He was extremely pleasant, caring and sympathetic to me. He explained the whole procedure in detail and also the aftercare. He listened while my daughter and I asked many questions. He made me feel confident and assured about the procedure. He took all the time I needed to understand. The surgery went beautifully and I had no complications. Highly recommend!!
