Horrible went back a couple times with complaints from pain and stiffness, all he says is "I haven't recieved payment yet " went to Dr.Savage in potsdam he had me on the table in a week fixed my problem literally walked out after surgery with half the pain went in with pain was completely gone in less than a week. Do yourself a favor and don't let this guy cut you go elsewhere

One of the best drs. Saved my leg and life from surgery previously done by a. different orthopedic surgeon. One who shamefully calls himself a knee specialist. Dr bakirtzian is the best m z.there is. He listens to you and he is kind as well as smart.

Dr. B performed a total hip replacement procedure in July of 2013, 2.5 years later I have absolutely no issues; Today, I would not know the procedure had been done. Recently he performed knee arthroscopy and removed a bone chip from the joint; excellent recovery and no problems. One week later, I had shoulder surgery to repair a badly torn rotator cuff and a torn bicep tendon. I am just 6 weeks out from that procedure and just removed the sling/brace and starting PT. I have had no pain.

Very courteous and professional. State of the art High tech equipment in office. M.r.i. and physical therapy conveniently located next door. I had nothing but excellent service with all 3 parts of this doctor's practice. I had a car accident and doctor recommended physical therapy really helped. The physical therapists were top notch, I had to see them over a y2 year period, they even have massage and underwater aqua therapy. They have excellent practice. Nothing but positive experiences with ALL the staff including the doctor. I would recommend definitely.

I've had a really bad experience with Dr. Bakirtzian, and I'm still suffering. He schedules surgery so quickly, that it doesn't give you time to think and research. I know of two other people that he has done surgery on and seriously messed up. Reconsider before choosing him, I beg you!

i had a rod put in my leg, and have'nt had anything but problems with my knee since. when i spoke with berkirtzian all he asked is why i haven't made a payment yet and everything is fine. well it's not and why would i pay for something that's not right? will never go to him again and would not recommend him to work on a dummy .
