Charles Milchteim's Online Review Report Card

Dr. M had terrible bedside manner. Out of 3 in office visits, Dr. M never once gave me a physical examination. He based what little medical advice he gave me on a physical examination his PA provided. His final recommendation after diagnostic texting was "You're going to have to be a detective. You'll need to figure out what will make it feel better. If you want an injection we'll make another another appointment (aka another copay). I'll never recommend Dr. M or Orlin and Cohen to anyone again.

Pleasant, did a good exam on the pulled muscle in the groin. Didn't push for an mri, suggested PT to stay conditioned. quick visit - like all orthos!

Was annoyed when I asked him too many questions. Only saw him for about 10 minutes on first visit. After that I received my injections in knee by great P A’s. Does not have an bead side manner.

Nice guy, but very green and unsure of himself with more complex shoulder ailments. He completely misdiagnosed my shoulder condition and suggested a treatment plan for my neck when it was clear that the condition was the shoulder. I had to be referred to a different doctor in the practice for a correct and precise diagnosis. Perhaps with time and experience the quality of his care will improve but for now I wouldn't recommend him for anything more than rudimentary shoulder ailments such as sprains and rotator cuff strains.

I have been seeing Dr. Milchteim for three years. I have seen him at least a two dozen times at several Orlin&Cohen locations. Every time he has been very professional and personable which is hard to balance. Dr. Milchteim explains everything clearly without complex technical terms yet not simplifying it too much. I also want to mention that he recommends the least invasive treatment first and gives the body time to respond to the treatment before moving to the next option. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Milchteim is an excellent doctor. I am a surgeon myself and came to him with pain in my shoulder from a chronic injury. He was professional, thorough, knowledgeable, and accurate. He helped put me at ease and gave me great recommendations to get better ASAP. I can not recommend him highly enough!

Caring and knowledgeable. Takes time to explain the problem and offers realistic solutions. I was treated after a serious car accident and saw Dr Milchteim quite often. I was treated like a family member.

Worst Doctor I have ever met.

Dr. Milchteim is very sweet, he has a great bedside manner. I did my research for a few months on ACL reconstruction surgery before meeting him. He answered all my questions. I had every confidence in him that he had my best interest in mind. I'm currently on my first day post op and I have experienced everything he told me to expect. He called me to check on me and answered all of my questions. I would recommend him to anyone.

Dr. Charles Milchteim provides top-quality medical treatment. He is friendly, intelligent, and caring. I highly recommend his services. Dr. Milchteim is a very talented orthopedist and surgeon. His office in Woodbury is very convenient and the staff are great. I have met many orthopedists and other types of doctors, and I say with confidence that Dr. Milchteim is the best. He's an all-around nice guy, smart doctor, and compassionate person.
