I saw him at Orlin &Cohen on Long island. He is arrogant and doesn't seem to care much about how you feel or what your concerns are. His first words are surgery. That is a big red flag for me, especially since shoulder replacement surgery is so controversial and has a bad reputation. Maybe he is efficient, but I will never know. I would NOT go back to him.

He is a terrible doctor. He is cold and uncaring. He has the worst bedside manner of any doctor I ever went to. he spent less than a minute with me and did not even examine me. I told him that I had terrible back pain and he immediately said that based on my normal x-rays I do not need an MRI and he will not give me a prescription for an MRI. He said why bother finding out the cause of my pain because most people don't have surgery on their back anyway. Really? ! What an idiotic response.

He gave sound advice, that fitted prior known facts and reading. He worked with externally sourced images, and gave several items of advice. His name is long, and he doesn't fit familiar doctor stereotypes, but if others shun him for this then his greater availability is your win.
