Very dismissive and rude - have been suffering for months with pain which sent me to the ER in march with abnormal finding and strong referral to Gyno - office canceled my last appointment in June because I was recovering from Covid - but tested negative. Went to my re-scheduled appointment , to be told that I was supposedly running a fever of 100.7 and she was uncomfortable to do an exam. I asked for temp to be checked again because I did not feel sick, and she refused!!! She demanded to reschedule my appointment. I went to Urgent Care right afterwards and low and behold, my temp was 97.6 - long story short, I feel she is just terrified of COVID and because I had it for nearly 5 weeks way back in April, she's too afraid to treat me even though I have been negative for a while! To top it off - she was quite rude and dismissive even though I've been in horrible pain for months now. I will NOT be returning to her and I wouldn't recommend her - ever.

Dr. Atkinson is awesome, extremely competent and the best bed-side manner I have ever encountered in a Dr. She is personable and friendly too.

She is by far the most caring dr i have ever had she took the time to talk with me about my concerns and problem and was answering my questions. With me not understanding the medical terminology she then was explaining what i did not understand in simpler terms showing me on a picture of what i was experiencing and where it was coming from and what was needed to be done to solve my problem made me feel like she really cared. I would definitely go to her agian and recommend her to my friends. Thanks Rosa!

I have been one of Dr. Atkinson's patients since she came to practice in the Middletown NY area. I have never had a 'bad' experience.I feel she is one of the most caring/concerned Dr.'s I have ever met. She takes the time to explain everything and answer any questions you may have. I would very highly recommend Dr. Atkinson!!!
