Eric Martin's Online Review Report Card

The absolute worst doctor I have ever been to. His medical license should be reviewed and he should be disciplined accordingly. Besides 2 completely wrong diagnostics his bed side manner is absolutely uncalled for and unexplainable. His arrogance and pompous demeanor made me sick to my stomach. First encounter was with my girlfriend about 2 years ago. She came in with her ankle swelled up like a softball in excruciating pain. He told her to get a pair of crutches and it would get better. After another week of no improvement we went back. Same response, “here’s a boot” wear this and it’ll get better. Another week of no improvement and a very serious issue we returned again. Same response, “it’ll get better over time”. This time we left and went downstairs straight to the ER. Thank god the ER doctor clearly knew there was a serious issue. After a few hours they drew a sample of fluid from her ankle and discovered salmonella in her ankle! Because of Dr. Martins incorrect evaluations and lack of concern over the previous month the salmonella began to eat away at her bone. This would’ve all been avoided if he showed a little bit of concern and did his job the first visit. She went into emergence surgery to avoid losing her foot. Second encounter was yesterday. I’ve had a severe knee injury since the first week of November. 9 weeks ago. I can barely walk, pretty much drag my right leg behind me. Having no choice I went to him yesterday morning and same exact thing. Shrugged his shoulders at me and said it’ll get better. I waited 5 weeks for an appointment with him he showed zero concern and told me to wait it out. With the luck of god I managed to get an appointment yesterday afternoon with a different doctor who diagnosed the issue and provided proper meds, a shot and put me on a path to recovery. Please, take my advise. This guy should not have a license. This is not a joke. I have never in my life wrote a review about anything at all.

An absolutely horrible experience with a doctor who cuts you off verbally as he does not want to hear your problem. Minimized the problem with my knee and really never wanted to even take a look. I had a second opinion with an urgent surgery as a result of the lack or knowledge and care from this doctor.

I went to dr Martin because I broke my knee cap. I was terrified because I had never broken a bone. He was amazing, caring, attentive. His staff was so nice & caring. He took care of all my fears. Definitely happy with my treatment.

Very Knowledgeable, Professional and Caring of your concerns. I highly recommend Dr.Martin to friends and Family. I rate him Five stars!!

I just had my checkup for my knee that was replaced Dr. Martin. Through all my appointments he was very attentive and always explained things so I would understand. I never felt rushed or that he wasn't concerned about my health. I would definitely recommend him .

Very happy with the way he handled my surgery. Dr Martin did a whole knee replacement for me. He came in before surgery an check on me,at which time he prepared me as to what to expect. One day after surgery he came back into my room and explained what he had done. He reassured me that if there was anything I need I should just give him a call. The doctor and staff were amazing. Never once was I told to wait. I am so happy that I was able to have my surgery I am also happy that I found this doctor and will use him. Really nice guy, however if you’re looking for someone to only tell you what you want to hear,then this may not be your man. I was looking for experience, and a solid surgeons now I know without a doubt that Dr. Martin is my forever doctor

I have been going to Dr. Martin for a knee injury for about 9 months now, and I have to say that I have been nothing but pleased with the experience. Dr. Martin has gone above and beyond to try to figure out how to avoid invasive surgery. I felt confident in my decision to have a total knee replacement as a result of exhausting all other options. I don’t think I’ve ever had to wait more than 15 minutes to be called into his office and once in the room he arrived within 5 minutes.His staff are helpful, attentive and above all compassionate.RespectfullyAnne Curry

Dr. Martin was terrific. He replaced both my hips. He was friendly and very helpful. He answered my questions and did not pressure me. The surgeries went smoothly and the follow up care by Dr. Martin and his staff was first rate. I have recommended Dr. Martin to friends and can’t think of anyone else I would rather have as an orthopedic surgeon.

Hip surgery experience was rated A. I am 74 and a year later, still no pain and all activities resumed after three months. An excellent experience with an excellent surgeon.

I guess I did not get the answer I was expecting to hear, but I went in, in excruciating pain from a fall and could barely put weight on my left leg. It even hurt when sitting. I was told to go to physical therapy. OK, glad there were no broken bones, but I just think that when doctors do not have the answers themselves, the patient gets dismissed to "physical therapy." Been, there, done that.
