List of Winthrop Pediatric Associates's Reviews
This is the only doctor I've felt comfortable bringing my son to since he was born. He was born at Winthrop and they have all of his records. They aren't an actual PCP but I get in where and when I can fit in. Sometimes it is hard to get an appointment right away, but the service is never lacking. I'm a bit surprised by all of the negative reviews, but it has been YEARS since that was posted. Overall I am satisfied with the service every time we come.
keep your children far away! not only are they always overcrowded but your kid is just a number. The parking garage crashed my car there. The staff is unprofessional and rude. I was sitting right in front of them before and they were speaking badly about me. They didn't know I was there. Then when I said I didn't want to give my twins all the vaccines in one day they tried to pressure me. I never denied a vaccine but I wanted to spread them out because my kids were premies. They were annoyed. Now that my kids are 4 and I am registering them for pre k I get a letter that the vaccines were administered wrong and too close in time they should have been 8 weeks apart but they weren't. Now I can't send my kids to school and can't work until their new doc handles this. idk what to do to be honest. Also when signing them up for Daycare they forget to send the papers then they get it to you after a week or 2 making you miss deadlines. Also, when my children had an emergency they say they only day emergencies or walkins on certain days. (Because I know when my kids are going to be sick) how inconvenient. I removed them from this office after all of these negative experiences and I now love their Doctor. She recommended their vaccines when they were required and respected my opinion to spread them out n not give my kids all their shots at one time. And when I request documents they return them within two days.
This place is disgusting. The entrance just gives an awful impression. It's worn and dirty. There are a lot students attending patients, consequently they have to check in with the actual doctors, which extends visits significantly. The actual doctors themselves rush through checking patients, providing test results and explanations. Its pretty rude actually. Don't waste your time. The nurses and front desk staff are the only helpful ones. Ps the nurses clearly have more experience then the doctors.
I waited an hour and a half for a shot and a copy of my physical. Took so long to do legit one thing.
It's been hard for me to get an appointment with the same doctor. I prefer doctor Purwar or Marino. The girls at the front desk never smile and look miserable. I brought my new born here and the girl that I had to see to register as a new patient was on her cell phone and not very helpful when there was a problem with the iPad I was completing the registration on. The Nurses are super nice but when it's time for shots It literally looks like they are stabbing the child (I have four kids this isn't my first rodeo). Lastly when I call to make an appointment there is this one lady who answers the phone and she's always talking bad about someone or having a side conversation. On top of that she calls me "mama" hold on Mama What day Mama okay Mami. I hate being called mami, baby or babe unless your my Actual Dad Mom or Husband.
Visiting the doctor can be difficult for any child. Winthrop NYU recommended this office after delivery. I did not expect to like this place as much as I do. Dr. Lee is a great pediatrician, very thorough and observant, asked questions about my son's progress, made me feel like they really care about his health and welfare. The team of nurses made vaccine shots go quick and smoothly -- barely any tears! I feel great that my son is well taken care of by a wonderful doctor and staff. Very appreciative of the care here!
Reception very rude and not helpful when it comes to important issues for your child. Very hard to book appointments in advance and when they tell you to wait closer they end up being all booked up. No organization.
How fantastic is this practice. The girls in the front are friendly, the nurses are great with kids and Dr. Saggar is a godsend. What a fantastic pediatrician. She's informative and very hands on. Not to mention a great bedside manner.
Twice this summer I tried scheduling appointments for both my boys for a physical. Twice they told me that they were all booked and to call back at the end of the month to schedule an appointment for the following month. When I called back the third time to set up that appointment, 7 days before the last day of the month they tell me they are all booked for September already. I asked when did they start making appointments. Their reply was in the middle of the month. I told them that twice they told me to call at the end of the month. The person that answered had no reply. I would have given them one star since the upkeep of the facilities seem to have deteriorated. But I'm giving 3 stars instead since Dr. Robert Lee was a great pediatrician.
horrible customer services ladys at front desk are very unhappy and rude.even when i call i always get a attitude or told to call back .its almost impossible to get anyone on the phones..they make appts and make you wait very long..i will start looking for a new ped asap..parking is free but long long waits to get your car back its just unbelieve people will treat you this way.ladys if you dont like your job then you shouldnt work here!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
