List of Crystal Run Healthcare Monroe's Reviews
Dr.Shah is by far the best doctor around! Very thorough and explain everything to me in-depth!
The staff at Monroe is horrible. The doctors are great, but I hate dealing with the front end.
Went here on Monday January 29th 2024 to get my ears cleaned out since i go every 6 months. Was checked in at the front, and still couldn't hear that well, and couldn't hear the person at the desk very well... Also gave her insurance cards Empire and medicaid, she told me that empire one doesn't work, but upon checking the website, they switched to anthem, but it shouldn't be any service outages. I already tried waiting a week and tortured myself because i was dizzy. Then they don't accept medicaid either so i had to sign a paper claiming financial responsibility..... Also couldn't change it if i wanted to because my ears were clogged. anyways, after that i got all checked in. went up to 203, and before you know it, my name was called. And i was early to my appointment. Dr. Lau came in right away, cleaned out my ears and i ultimately felt better. 5 stars for him! I'll be back in 6 months to see him again.
I went in as a first time patient to see Doctor Rajana Meka and had one of the worst experiences I've had to date at Crystal run. She was very uninterested in what I had to say, and gave very snarky remarks. I explained that I previously saw doctors for a Worker's Compensation claim and I felt they did not give me the right care I needed and that's why i came to her. Instead of helping me get the right care or explore my options she defended those same doctors who did basically the same thing as her.... NOTHING. Crystal run has really been falling apart and it's a shame. If you actually want help when you are sick or in pain go somewhere else!!!!!
Disgustingly immoral, greed driven operation. After being mis-sold on a $170 X-ray that showed precisely nothing (as they knew it would because it's a soft tissue injury) I was able to buy an overpriced MRI off them. So far, so standard US medical practice. But then after the results I waited a week for somebody to contact me with any updates - none came. I telephoned to learn their computer systems had been hacked and my records may have been exposed (no explanation there). I finally saw my doctor for a follow-up and after waiting 20 mins, I was briefly told to come back another day and speak to a hand expert because she couldn't tell me what had happened (despite this being the only reason I was there, an X-ray, and an mri report later). This redundant meeting could easily have been avoided but instead I was made to drive a 10 mile round trip for a pointless 5 minute update they could have given me on the phone. They knew this and yet they charged me $300 for the visit!!! Of course I did come back the next day for the "expert" pov (another $300) which was completely devoid of any information. I'm now $1200 in the hole with absolutely no information, no follow-ups, no good advice. What a total scam. You're far better off going to HSS in the city. Those folks are decent, caregiving doctors who know their stuff unlike these clowns.
Disaster. My provider Yuen was not only not helpful but RUUUNNNNN from her if you need life importance meds. She has an anxiety to prescribe medication for anxiety,no matter even if you will survive Seizures ,she wouldn’t give a …care.. run away… she is not the one you need in this case
This is just a terrible medical facility. Sometimes waited up to 1 and a half hour to see the doctor for a scheduled appointment. Doctors suck in this facility in general. Can not properly prescribe medication….avoid them at all costs.
The receptionist Rebecca was so incredibly rude and disrespectful that I seriously will reconsider using this office again. It’s hard enough to have to get your appointment and take care of everything else without rude staff. I used to code that was asked she was snarky she snatched my card right out of my hand. Unacceptable I will be putting a very bad review on yelp.
Worst experience with a primary care facility in my life. No one was able to refill my necessary prescription and never got back to me after the fact. I needed to refill my prescription by an emergency doctor because after a week of calling no one filled my script. This was a medication I could no go cold turkey on, and it would risk my health to do so. Extremely disappointed
I have always been able to talk to Dr. Ranin-Lay and get my problems resolved. Seeing her is like dealing with trusted family. Would not consider changing doctors. She's always treat me with tender loving care. Because she really do care.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
