Karas Evan's Online Review Report Card

Very competent. Dr. Karas operated on my husband's shoulder 3 years ago. He repaired a torn ligament and removed arthritis. Now the repaired shoulder is better than the undamaged one. My 64 year old husband outlifts the current world record for his age group in benchpress.

I hurt my knee 6 months ago. I was told Dr. Karas is one of the best in the field. When I had my consultation with him, I told him that I wanted to continue my heavy sport activities, particularly Tennis and Zumba. He told that the only way to insure I can continue my activities would be with surgery. So naturally I had the surgery. Few months after the surgery when I returned to him, i asked him when I could begin my activities. I was shocked when he said he wouldn't recommend doing so. I reminded him of what he said at my consultation and he denied saying it. I wouldn't recommend this Dr.

Really nice guy. Knowledgeable and not a blow hard hot shot type like my last orthopedic. That's what I originally wrote. He bailed on my surgery because he wasn't getting paid enough and removed my insurance.

Dr Kara's treated both my parents and is an excellent doctor. He gave my Mom knee injections hyaluronic acid that has no side effects and it lubricanted her knee and reduced both friction and pain. Kept her going for many years. She said he had the golden touch when doing the injections.

THEY SHOULD ANSWER THE PHONE

I have seen Dr Karas on multiple occasions for a deteriorating arthritic shoulder. He has always been thorough, thoughtful, caring and has treated me as a thinking person who deserves the unvarnished truth about my condition and treatment alternatives.

Dr Karas performed rotator cuff surgery in 2015, three ligaments were torn. He fixed my shoulder and the outcome was excellent. Dr Karas will explore every possible alternative before he recommends surgery. He has always given me his full attention during visits. He is very personable and caring. I have never felt rushed or ignored. I rate Dr Karas a 5+. His staff is also very friendly and attentive. Never have a problem speaking directly with his nurse. If you have an orthopedic problem Dr Karas should be your first choice. I was not paid to write this review nor am I a friend or family member of Dr Karas

After seeing 2 other doctors, Dr. Karas diagnosed my daughters shoulder problem. He was professional and performed surgery to remove bone spur and calcium build up, which cause tremendous pain in my daughters arm every time she threw a softball. Following the surgery and 5 months later, my daughters arm was stronger than ever with zero pain. She just finished an incredible year and will be playing at a D2 school. Thank you Dr. Karas!

Horrible comp. experience , was rude arrogant and misdiagnosed me. Ruined my life. My shoulders are so bad he did not fix anything refused to listen. He was a know it all. I wished I never stepped foot in his office. I can not believe how he treated me. I am struggling to make ends met. He ruined my comp case. Do yourself a favor go to someone else. I meet someone that worked for him and they said he was arrogant!!!!

This doctor not only did not explain the specifics of my bone break, but he told me to come back in a month and then cancelled my appointment with no provision to have me seen by another doctor.
