Kathy Ma's Online Review Report Card

Doctor Ma is an excellent Physician & Surgeon. I had experienced extreme pain & discomfort on my right foot. I had seen several other Physicians in the area but found Doctor Ma to be by far the most earnest & forthright regarding my options. I personally found Doctor Ma's approach to be the most sincere & clear for me. In February Doctor Ma operated on my foot with her extremely loyal & skilled team. The outcome for me has been very successful. Caremount Medical should be very proud to have someone of Doctor Ma's caliber on staff. If you require orthopedic surgery I would strongly recommend Doctor Ma & her fabulous team. Thank you

Awful experience. The receptionists are rude and Katherine Ma is arrogant and incompetent. Did absolutely nothing for my sprain except tell me to “learn to walk on my hands.” Complete waste of time and money. Find a different doctor.

Never. She did not seem to understand the issue and offered no help to improve my situation. She simply said it is what it is and will reconcile or not. I found her totally not helpful and felt she did not understand her field.

Dr. Ma is very engaging and she was able to ease my discomfort by listening. She was understanding and I would highly recommend her. She is professional and excellent at her craft. My surgery went very well.

I had emergency surgery with Dr Ma. Her care was excellent from the start. She is a very compassionate, down to earth professional. And I would highly recommend her and Northern Westchester Hospital.

Cold, condescending, and dismissive. She spent 5 minutes with me, didn’t take the time to read the form I filled out in detail, pertaining to my history, didn’t even have x-rays taken (when there’s a radiology department in the building), or give me specific stretches to do after she told me, “You’re just really tight.” “So, why are you here to see me when you’re seeing all these other doctors? (with a smug face).” Wow, Dr. Ma. That’s a great question why I chose to see you. I wish I hadn’t inconvenienced myself or you, for that matter, seeing as you seemed to be in such a rush. I have never written a bad review for a doctor in my life until today.

Arrogant and diagnosed me with a minimal sprain when my foot was actually BROKEN Horrific experience-

We used Dr. Ma for my daughter's follow up visit. She was so nice and very informative. She took the time to make sure I knew what the x-rays were showing, I understood her advice and that my daughter was not scared. She really knew how to interact with a young child and made the entire experience so easy.

My husband had ankle surgery on one ankle with Dr.Ma. . She really cares about her patients. He is a notoriously difficult patient but she worked very well with him in every way. He healed much faster than expected and he is going back for surgery on his other ankle to Dr. Ma . I Highly recommend her,she is truly an Exceptional Doctor.
