An exceptional surgeon! Now on to his even better points. It is not just his Ivy League background and training, but his major--"Bio Ethics" --that made him the perfect choice for me. Until I came to CareMount, my experience with nearly all doctors was disastrous. My personal experience would have shelved the term "Bio Ethics" into the category of an oxymoron. For those unfamiliar with that term, it is the pairing of contradictory words (like "original copy", "bittersweet", "random order" or deafening silence".) Until recently, medicine and ethics were on opposite sides of the coin. But, Dr. Grant is the real deal. He is a deep thinker. He is careful, compassionate and proceeds with only his patient's best interest at heart. And did I mention he's top in his field? Maybe I'm lucky, but the day after surgery I have no pain and am doing laundry, cooking , cleaning and business as usual. Yup. This doctor earned every one of his prestigious awards ---and deserves a lot more. Unfortunately, he's in a class almost by himself, like an endangered species. But, who knows. Maybe his patient-first approach will catch on? For me, he's the "only choice". ( Oops. Another oxymoron.)

My husband had an emergency appendectomy at Putnam Hospital. We were a concerned because we didn't know the doctor or the hospital. Dr. Scott Grant was perfect in so many ways. He is kind, sensitive, and very, very thorough. I really appreciates that he listened to me as well as my husband and took in all the information in order to continue to monitor his recovery. I recommend him highly. We. have been through a lot of medical challenges and he is a bright light.

He is a very knowledgeable and thorough doctor. Taking his time to explain and make clear what was going to happen in surgery. Then after procedure he reassured my family I was ok. Later he checked on me with real concern about how I felt, blown away. Absolutely amazing and there should be more doctors like Dr. Scott Grant. I highly recommend!!!

I met Dr. Scott Grant when they found a tumor on my left adrenal gland and I was showing signs of pheochromocytoma, a rare condition. From the moment we met him my family and myself felt very comfortable we were in the right place. During this whole process he has kept me updated and called to see how I was doing. He is very informative and a great Doctor. I would definitely recommend him to be your surgeon if needed. Thank you Dr. Grant for everything and giving me more years to come.
