List of Anthony F. Provenzano's Reviews
Telehealth visit was thorough and very timely. No long wait, and the appointment was not rushed at all. He listened and answered all my questions.
After one week of back and forth with this office just trying to get a date for a consultation and the cost, they said the consultation is $635.00, but they did not have a date yet. Then two days later I called again to get a date, but they refused to see the patient. Big waste of time.
Dr Provenzano is currently treating a family member. The family member is quite ill so I am writing this for them. Have never met a more uncaring doctor. Has yelled and spoken harshly to his cancer patient. His answers are abrupt, uncaring and harsh. How this man has succeeded as the head of an oncology dept is beyond me. The staff at Lawrence Hospital agrees with this - but is afraid to say anything. He has stellar credentials but a horrible temperment. Cancer is a horrible disease - it makes it worse when you have a doctor who treats his chemo patients with no caring or respect. Quote from Dr Provenzano when dealing with a crying chemo patient: "just deal with it" they were told. What is wrong with this man?!

Had saved my sister from ovarian cancer!! Thank you dr. Giammartino frank
Dr. Provenzano is an excellent physician who goes above and beyond what most doctors do to help patients. He and his entire staff are patient and compassionate and are always willing to assist me in any way necessary. Dr. Provenzano keeps apprised of all recent developments in his field and constantly advises me of new therapies that may help me. He never gives up and has remained focused and positive throughout my treatment. I feel very fortunate to have such an outstanding physician caring for me.
Doctor Provenzano has been my doctor for many years. He has cared for me through two medical crises. He saved my life. He deserves the highest thanks and support from his patients. Robert D'Agostino
I visited the doctor once or twice and will reschedule to see him again. Very nice staff and they even called me a few weeks after the appointment to see how I was doing. I will need to set up another appointment with him. Cannot really give a full review because I have not gone back yet. Parking was very easy and the entrance is handicap accessible. No long appointment times and no longer periods on the phone. So far so good I will update when the doctor is seen again.
Extremely knowledgeable. Kind and can explain complex science in simple terms. Great staff. Helpful and considerate. Always attentive to all your questions. Vast resource of oncology expertise.
Truly gifted. Can explain complex medical issues with clear and vivid examples. Understands his field inside out...

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
