List of David Kauvar's Reviews
Very knowledgeable and professional and communicates very well. Performed my colonoscopy. Very happy with the whole experience- the hospital and Dr Kauvar
Arrogance combined with indifference. Dangerous combination. No history taken. No review of info. If he can’t be the most important person in the room he isn’t interested. If you are Too sick then too much time required. Referred to him after urgent care visit and his reaction to the situation was dismissive. Went to another doctor afterwards and learned my problem was a kidney infection manifesting as a gastro reaction to the inflammation. But another gastro doc saw it he didn’t. Don’t waste time with him. Arrogance and indifference.
Dr. Kauvar has done at least four colonoscopies and a few endoscopies for me and my wife over the past 20 years. He's a very good listener, is empathetic and really cares that his patients get quality medical care. I would highly recommend him.
We found Dr. Kauvar after several other doctors failed to diagnose my illness. He is a skilled physician and a compassionate person. mmm
I recently went to Dr. Kauvar for the first time, and was very impressed with the care he provided. He demonstrated an excellent understanding of my issue and, combined with his friendly, engaging, and calm demeanor and "bedside manner," he was able to make a stressful situation much easier to manage. I will definitely recommend Dr. Kauvar to any family members or friends who are in need of gastroenterology services.
He explained everything, provided different avenues in which to treat a serious intestinal infection, was compassionate, understanding, thoughtful, and made me feel comfortable and respected as a patient.
I went to him for some stomach pain and indigestion that was occasionally keeping me up at night. I was prescribed prilosec.I went back after about two weeks because will the prilosec helped I still continued to have some pain. At that point he told me I needed an upper endoscopy to further pin point the problem. Not know about the inconvenience and discomfort of the procedure I agreed. I had the procedure about 2 weeks later. Sore throat for a week, a lost day, and bruise from the IV later I find out I have an ulcer and that some bacteria is causing it. He gives me antibiotics and more prilosec and I feel better. The problem I have is I come to find out that there are other non invasive tests that are just about as accurate as geting the scope. I could have been diagnosed and treated weeks ago minus the discomfort, sore throat, lost day and risk. Sorry, I wont be back. It seems he is too quick to make a buck.
Really cares. Spends time explaining thngs to the patient. Good medical knowledge
He is very helpful and really knows his stuff. He has a great staff and is a great bed- side doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
