Dr Fauser was thorough and answered all questions and made sure I knew exactly what to expect. So glad I had both my knees replaced with him.

Dr. Fauser was very compassionate, and explained everything to me regarding my total knee replacement. He took the time to answer all my pre and post surgery questions. And, I never felt rushed during my visits. I would definitely recommend him to friends & family.

After experiencing years of pain from bone-on-bone osteoarthritis in both knees, I scheduled a full knee replacement for each....9 months apart. Dr. Fauser had already done an arthroscopy on each: in 2004 (R) and (L) in 2009. At that time he noted that a replacement would likely be necessary down the line to relieve the pain and correct an increasing knock-kneed alignment. When the time came for the replacement, I didn't think twice about contacting Dr. Fauser. Both surgeries were successful: (L) in April 2021 and (R) in January 2022. The joints are now relatively pain-free and both legs are re-aligned. Because of the extensive correction needed in my knees and legs, Dr. Fauser told me that there would be significant pain afterward, for 5 weeks in my case. He didn't attempt to minimize or sugar-coat it. He was completely honest about every aspect of the procedure, pain involved and recovery. I can now look forward to resuming golf this spring after an 18-month absence.

Dr Fauser has performed the multiple replacement surgeries I have had, these include a total knee replacement, both total hip replacements, knee repair surgery and shoulder reconstruction. After each of my surgeries I had wonderful outcomes and continue to enjoy a pain free result. Dr Fauser takes you through a surgery by educating his patients on all aspects of the prescribed treatment. I have gone into each surgery confident in the planned course.

Dr Fauser took time explaining the injury, reviewing xrays and explaining process. Was able to be squeezed into appointments in his various offices. Staff was extremely helpful and genuine. Nurse did great job in placing cast making sure it would not rub under my knee. Follow up after surgery went smoothly with Dr Fauser again taking time to explain the next few months of my progress. Highly recommend him.

I made an appointment to see Dr. Fauser at the recommendation of the reception desk. When I arrived, I had x-rays and was brought to an exam room. The exam was performed by a nurse practioner, who then explained in detail my x-rays. Dr. Fauser never even entered the room. If I wanted to return for treatment, this would also be done by the nurse practitioner. I left feeling like my case wasn't important enough for his time, I'm certain my insurance will be charged for it though. I will not return to Somers Orthopaedic, nor will I recommend them to anyone else.
