Augustus Mantia is awesome, however, the ladies that handle billing and appointments are absolutely horrible! I went in the other day and paid cash for my copay, and they STILL BILLED ME EVEN THOUGH I PAID ALREADY, AND CLAIMED THAT I HAD NO RECEIPT OF THE TRANSACTION. How did they not have record of it? Obviously from now on I will not be paying with cash! Moreover, they were so nasty on the phone to me and treated me as if I were a child.. I would recommend going for Dr. Mantia, because he truly is an awesome man, but be aware of the nasty women answering the phones and having no manners whatsoever! If you don't like dealing with people, then maybe you should find another job that requires you to have to not interact with other human beings.

Dr a mantia is a fine dr. I however see the nurse practioner stacey. It's the office personel. They have young girls answering phones & making apts who don't know what they're doing. There are 2 very old women behind the desk that go out of their way to ignore you and then they're just dismissive. Since the office is not longer privately held and belongs to mt Sinai hospital system they get away with it by blaming the system. If mt Sinai is now responsible for personel they should overhaul it.

Patti in the office was unbelievable. Friendly,personable,and thorough. The Dr was also very thorough and very caring. Spent a lot of time with me. The guy in the lab was also amazing Doug was his name and I swear I didn't feel a thing. The guy is a pro and also very personable. The front desk was the weakest link. No personality and not very caring
