List of Greg Orlando's Reviews
I have not met with Dr Orlando though I have consulted with his practitioner. Excellent knowledge and explanation of potential injury. Further testing needed to check severity and establish treatment plan. The office staff dropped the ball. I needed prior authorization for testing and after three calls to the insurance company they have yet to submit medical documentation. I have four call back requests to the office in a period of a week, including a request to have the office manager call me to discuss my concerns. To date, no call back. Extremely disappointed in the lack of concern for my ortho care. Still cant blame the doctor.
I wouldnt trust no one else. Not with any cosmetic or reconstructive surgery.
Anyone who refers to patients and staff as “kids” is very demeaning. He is a terrible surgeon who does not have compassion toward patients or their families. Accuses patients of lying when they are in trouble as a result of surgery. Please do not go to him if you value your body and life in general.
I have had several surgery so by dr.orlando and his staff and np are one of the best staff you will find .not only do they listen to your concerns they address them in a timely manner. If your suffering from carpitunel or cuberneltul syndrome he is the one to see.. had issues with both hands and he did a great job despite the issue returing in ny right arm worse this second time I still say he is the best and believe that he will get me back on track once again...so for him and his staff 5 star
Dr Orlando is an excellent plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He. Is willing to take the time and explain everything regarding a patient. He cares and personable I would recommend him. Highly
Arrogant. In operating room acted like I was a piece of meat -- ignored me while he flirted with nurses, one of whom tried to point out he had a patient there. All of a sudden I was drowsy then out - did not say I was about to be put under. Never saw him again. Was told to call his office and make an appt to have stitches out. They gave me an appt for 3 weeks later though stitches were only to be out in ten days. Call after 12 days stitches were infected. Was told he had no sooner appts and I was not qualified to determine if the stitches were infected. Had to go to the emergency room to have the stitches out. Because of the infection and damage I had to have the surgery done again out of town since no other plastic surgeon would touch it because they said they had to work with him. They did agree that the surgery had to be done over. It is a basic surgery. I should have listened to other people who said not to go. I took the recommendation of a nurse.
Dr. Orlando reconstructed my breast last week, same day that I had a mastectomy. When I first visited his office, I found his staff very pleasant, I especially liked his nurse (can't remember her name at this time!) and he was very informative, kind, caring and was NOT condescending or full of himself. I googled him and was looking for reviews on him, hoping to get some info. To me, a doctor's bedside manner is very important and I want to feel comfortable with my physician, as well as have them be experienced and proficient with what they do. If I had looked at this site, I may have not gone to see him because of the negative reviews. Fortunately, I looked at another site that had good reviews. You may want to look at more than one site for reviews because sometimes the people that take the time to actually write a review are are those that had a negative experience. Dr. Orlando explained everything, completely, before the surgery, and he came to see me each day, at the hospiital, after. He sent me a follow-up appointment card 2 weeks before I had the surgery and it was scheduled for the week after he operated. He also knew that I wanted to try to go home for my son's prom and Mothers' Day so he showed up in a good amount of time and it was the fastest discharge I've ever had from a hospital! I had another surgeon for my mastectomy and I haven't heard from him to check on me or get a follow-up appointment and I never saw him at the hospital. I loved having Dr. Orlando for my physician, am grateful for his skill and compassion with my treatment and would recommend him to anyone!
Dr. Orlando was my physican tending to what he considered to be a serious case of carpal tunnel. He diagnosed my condition as being casually related to my work as a waitress at Applebee's Restaurant and the repetitive motion when rolling silver ware. At the time of my compensation hearing, Orlando, unaware that I was in the room during the telephone deposition, underhandedly, stated that the injury was not casually related, changing his previous determination. Based on his inconsistent statement, I was not awarded anything and lost my compensation case. I would not recommend Dr. Orlando. His office staff is unorganized with reports being filed late or not in a timely fashion, and his inability to remain consistent was damaging. best hand surgeon there is
I have to say, Dr. Orlando is a very busy Surgen but, a great one! Jan.2,09 I had a tummy tuck and breast implants. My tummy looks gr8 and Dr. Orlando reasured me that my breast will fall in place, although it may take 6 mos. I feel more confident about myself now and I know Dr. Orlando did a gr8 job! Handsome, Charming, good sense of humor, and a Smart Surgen!

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
