I highly recommend Dr Dhabhar as your primary doctor and also as an allergy doctor. He really cares and does all he can do to help his patients. He is a very smart doctor and very nice too. And sometimes he makes me laugh. He’s funny without even knowing it. I like the staff too. Very kind and so helpful.

Do not go to this man for allergies do not go to the man for anything. he gave my girlfriend two Benadryl‘s and then had her drive home she barely made it home. (he told her to Benadryl wouldn’t put her to sleep) he shouldn’t even be licensed to practice if he’s making those type of calls. he treated her like she knew nothing. on the paperwork he said he gave her two Benadryl because she was having allergic reaction when she was not.

2.5 stars because the rest of the staff were very professional and kind. Dr. Dhabhar and Dr. Breslow displayed unprofessional behavior that was wildly inappropriate and made me incredibly uncomfortable. I received allergy shots from Dr. Dhabhar’s office while in college. The first bad sign was the wait time for my consultation appointment. I understand that sometimes things happen but waiting over an hour without explanation or apology is not a great start. The second issue was during my actual appointment. Dr. Dhabhar takes a very different approach than other allergists I’ve seen as he told me that I should get rid of my pets due to my allergies. I spoke with a few of my other friend who also see him and they were told similar things, for example, if you leave your cats outside and don’t feed them, they will go away. Yes, if you have a cat allergy, it’s probably not great to have a cat. However, most Americans are very attached to their pets and it’s not realistic to ask them to get rid of them. The third issue I had was his professionalism. Dr. Dhabhar asked me invasive questions about my family that were not at all related to my allergies. I am a transracial adoptee and this came up because he wanted to know “why did you never learn Mandarin?” He also asked me “why don’t you know anything about your biological parents?” and “did they tell you if you had siblings?” He also insisted that I show him a picture of my family (“show me a picture of your parents”) and physically took my phone out of my hand so that he could zoom in. All of these questions were inappropriate and irrelevant to my allergies and the invasion of personal space when he took my phone was also unacceptable. The other major issue I had happened a few months later. I was at Slocum-Dickson for my regularly scheduled allergy shot and another doctor (Dr. Breslow who shares a space with Dr. Dhabhar) approached me and said “hi, how are you?” I answered and then he goes “ni hao.” I told him that I don’t speak Mandarin and he replied “oh I speak English when I have to too.” Upon hearing this, two other patients started laughing loudly. I don’t speak Mandarin and I’m really tired of people assuming that I do just because I’m Asian. Not all Asians are Chinese. Also, assuming that I was lying about my language skills isn’t great. I’m not sure why the other patients were laughing but that also made me uncomfortable because I really didn’t want to feel laughed at or singled out.

If my bloodwork shows anomalies, he calls me in the evening to let me know the findings and to see how I'm feeling. If I have an issue or question and he is not immediately available, he returns my calls promptly. His staff is caring and attentive. They promptly fill my scripts when I need to renew them.

Recently I had a problem and contacted his office. The nurse notified him and he personally returned my call within minutes. My husband and I have received wonderful professional care from him and his nurses for many years . We are happy we have such a dedicated doctor and nurses.

Dr. Dhabhar is the BEST!!! He literally saved my life when I had a horrific allergic reaction to the dye they gave me for a scan. He is so pleasant, yet always professional. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Dr Dhabhar and his office nurses are top notch! I have been going to him for over 10 years and get my allergy shots there. My medical issues have improved tremendously and I am grateful to Dr Dhabhar . Any time I have a question or concern when I’m at the office for my shot he will literally come right to the shot room and help me with my questions even though I don’t have an actual appt with him. He is concerned, and takes any question you have with great interest and never makes me feel like I’m bothering him. He is a factual and to the point doctor which is what I like as well. We communicate wonderfully together. His nurses go above and beyond and are the nicest most flexible nurses one good ask for. This is a fantastic doctor with fantastic nurses !

I love Dr. Dhabhar. I have been a patient over 10 years. He knows his stuff and has really helped me handle my allergies and asthma. He and his whole staff are so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend him.

I have been a patient of Dr Dhabhar for over ten years. I have had a phenomenal improvement with my medical issues. I receive my allergy shots there as well. I can say that I was in a very bad medical condition with allergies and asthma and I now feel very grateful that all my issues are under control thanks to Dr Dhabhar . He listens intently and he takes the time to make sure you are comfortable and understand your medical treatment. I have even asked to speak to him when I’m at my shot appt about a concern of mine and he will literally come right in the room and listen to my concern and address it. He never makes me feel like I’m bothering him. He is very tuned into his patients needs. His nurses are wonderful. They are so kind and flexible with my shot appts. I can’t be thankful enough how Dr Dhabhar and his nurses fit my shot schedule into my life and not just to make it easier on them. I love Dr Dhabhar’s matter of fact personality. He always makes me feel safe and comfortable with my treatments. He truly cares and it shows.
