My mother and I both visit Dr. Benjamin’s office. She is wonderful from her bedside manner to her skills as an eye doctor. Totally recommend her!

Too pricey

Go to someone else. I saw Dr. Benjamin several years ago, and at that time I found she was sweet, caring, and very knowledgeable. Everything you look for in a doctor. But that is no more. I recently moved back to the area, and made a long delayed Pandemic appointment. On the day of my appointment, her office staff called me, and cancelled my appointment. I recently turned 65, and have both regular Medicare, and employer provided Health Insurance. It seems Dr. Benjamin’s billing department found that both Medicare and my Private Insurance show up as the Primary Insurance carrier. Karen told me it is their policy to cancel appointments if there are any “glitches” in the Insurance. This includes having two insurance companies, that both cover the visit. I contacted my carrier and submitted a Coordination of Benefits form to correct this, which is being processed. Today, I called her office, and they cancelled my appointment a second time. Dr, Benjamin: your staff is treating me in an uncaring and unprofessional manner. This is a VERY bad reflection on your commitment and integrity as a physician. Your staff outright told me your main (only?) concern is to get paid without any delays, on every visit. Fix this, or stop practicing medicine. Is your only concern making money???

A 79 year old senior citizen and all she could talk about was I will not see you till you pay the co-pay. the senior said my son will pay.. please call him or forward to him. I will charge an extra $20 fee if I have to forward it to your son she says. and she said I will not see you till you pay the $40 copay. I do not recommend anyone to go see this doctor... all she cares about is money . not the patient. Her attitude is very bad and she is very arrogant.. she doesn't respect senior citizens. she forgot where she came from and is obviously not in the profession to help people.

My husband and I have been going to Dr. Benjamin for several years. She is one of the best doctors we have ever been to. She is extremely knowledgeable and has a wonderful personality. My husband and I both have health issues with our eyes and she is on top of everything. She even referred my husband to Foresee Home which uses a home monitoring system to keep a check on changes in his macular degeneration. Her office staff is just as wonderful as she is. We moved out to eastern Long Island(Suffolk County) a couple of years ago but we still commute to Nassau County to see Dr.Benjamin for our office visits. We would not think of going anywhere else.

Let me tell you how wonderful Dr Bengermin is. Not only is she a absolute saint but she has such a good bedside manner I have been going to her for many years for a rare Eye condition and she has gone above and beyond to make sure that I'm been OK no matter where I am in the world. Not to mention she is super awesome and so smart and nice yeah. She is definitely one of the good ones I recommend her any day of the week she will forever be the best doctor You will ever have. She even treated me for free even when I didn’t have insurance. I love ?? ya Dr Benjamin

This is a Indian lady doctor(don’t be fooled by her last name) who only cares about getting paid missed diagnosed me,I’m sorry she has BAD BREATH problem when she comes to examine you it’s terrible!

Dr. Benjamin is terrific. She never rushes with patients. Explains everything, highly competent, and most of all, kind. Highly recommended.
