List of Bell Nicole's Reviews
There are NOT enough words to express how amazing Dr. Bell is! She s an incredibly knowledgeable OB/GYN who is kind, compassionate, and provides top notch medical care. I ve been a patient of hers for almost 20 years- she s simply the BEST! Highly recommend her to everyone!
If I could i would give her a zero star. I believe Bedside manners is not enough to be a good doctor. She delayed my c-section for hours even though my baby was in distress. The nurses were turning me left n right to help my baby and head nurse suggested emergency c-section right away. I was not even dilated 1cm but she tried to induce (with a distressed baby). Only god s grace saved us. If you are ready to give up on your kid and stick with vbac then please go ahead with her. We had to spend months in NICU and still facing the consequences for her bad judgement...
I do not recommend her or any physicians under the same practice (women for women obgyn) at 410 Lakeville Rd. My water broke at 31 weeks and my baby was in distress HR dropped in the monitor couple of times. She refused to do emergency c-section. She wanted me to have a normal delivery when i was not at all dialated. When I questioned her she agreed to do it. I don t know what kind of MD she is. She didn t care about my baby at all. If she did she would have done an emergency c-section. Do not recommend her! I found out a month later one of my colleague lost her baby and she was her MD.
Made an appointment with Dr Nicole Bell because I wanted to discuss a surgical procedure. Wasn t given alternatives to having this elective procedure. In any event I had a biopsy done and was informed she would call me with the results. After 2 weeks I called Dr Bell and inquired about the results. I spoke to the nurse. When I asked for a follow up appointment I was told I COULD NOT make a follow up appointment because Dr Bell did not indicate I needed a follow up in the notes. I asked to leave a message with Dr Bell for a return phone call and it s been over a week. Needless to say, I am looking for a new Dr. If you don t care about my health than I don t need her as a Dr. I WILL NOT RECOMMEND. Why do I need permission for a follow up obviously if I am contemplating surgery and we are in the pre testing stage I need to follow up. I also wanted to discus other options, as when discussing this with co workers someone gave me an alternative. Which is what Dr Bell should have given me.
My Experience was good. Very patient and easy to speak with also very pleasant. I was recommend by my cousin
Awesome
I have been seeing Dr. Bell since 2005. When I was having complications with my first pregnancy. She was so reassuring and helped relieve my anxiety and worry. Every visit with her was extremely informative and even fun. She is extremely knowledgeable and so very caring! I am so grateful to have her as a physician.
I believed in her so much, but she turned out to be poor in judgement and lethargic. She was not prompt enough to understand that my baby was under stress even though the nurses in the hospital could tell that i needed an emergency c section. She made us wait for 10hrs and by that time we had so many complications. Doctors keep rotating in WomenForWomen and there is no sense responsibility.

Dr Bell delivered my son 3.5 years ago (I’m thinking of her today as I’m preparing for the birth of my second child). I had never met her before that day but she happened to be the OB at the hospital (Katz at LIJ) when I came in. She was so kind and calm. She never tried to tell me how I should be positioned and adjusted herself so I could deliver my son in the way that felt most natural for me. There was meconium in my water when it broke and the umbilical cord was looped around my son’s neck- she handled it all in such a calm and easy manner- I never felt worried. After the delivery all the nurses told me I should be thankful that she was the one there- that she was definitely their favorite and the best OB there. I feel very blessed to have had such a positive birth experience.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
