Dr. Steven C. Friedman's Online Review Report Card

This review is long overdo. Dr. Friedman was my urologist when I was an 11yo until almost college (we kept in touch after)! He treated me for kidney stones which was such a difficult time for me as a teen. He was a blessing in my life. I still compare every doctor to him. He treated me with compassion and so I knew I could trust him years later. I recently brought my baby boy to see him after I was told he should see a urologist and he told me his honest opinion about procedures for him but respected my decision to not proceed and was supportive. I know that I can always bring my son to him for check ups and that he would care for him the same way he cared for me as a child.He continues to be a blessing!

My name is Peter Chimenti and I am a 55yr old male. I had a duo collecting system which needed reconstructive surgery at 29 yrs of age. It was a pediatric problem that was never found in me as a child. Although my age, it was necessary for me to see a pediatric urologist. Dr Friedman treated me and shortly after surgery It was determined that I had testicular cancer. Dr Freidman handled both procedures and treated me for several years after. You could not ask for a more qualified or diligent Dr. I will Always consider myself part of the pediatric associates family and Dr Freidman not only as an incredible Dr but also my friend for life.

I'm seeing a lot of bad reviews on this doctor and it makes me wonder if he has just changed with age. In 1994 I was his patient, I was 4 and a half years old. I underwent reconstructive surgery on my left and right ureters. It was a successful surgery and 26 years later I'm healthy and Im alive. I'm grateful Dr Steven Friedman saved my life.

Took my son to Dr. Friedman for the 1st time.We were running late for his appointment so I called to notify them. The staff was very understanding and still saw my son considering we were about 30 mins late. The Recepitionist were very nice and welcoming. Dr. Friedman's nurse Peggy was a gem. She made my son feel comfortable and was very kind. As for Dr.Friedman himself was very pleasant and knowledgeable. Many Thanks Awesome team

Stay away. My son had an issue and at our pediatrician's recommendation I called his office. Do you treat "this" I asked? At first they said no and I thanked them and hung up. I got a call back from his office saying "yes, he does treat that". So I scheduled the appointment (4 weeks out) took a half day off from work, got my son out of school early, took an uber up there (it is not a convenient location and it was a snowy day) only to have him say "he should see "this guy". The office is obviously desperate for patients.

I want to raise a red flag about Dr. Steven Friedman at Pediatric Urology. The staff and office are extremely unprofessional, they made us wait an hour and a half to see the Dr ahead of my sons appointment and didn't indicate to us if the Dr was running late or what was happening. When we finally saw the Dr it was for no more than 5 minutes. He gave us a rehearsed speech about the circumcision procedure and treated my son like cattle. Once the procedure was done they asked me to breast feed him in a public waiting area but of course my son was too traumatized to take anything. After I requested to see the nurse, they took us back and quickly explained the post op treatment. We didn't see the doctor again after the procedure! Why does this man have a 4 star review!

i was here with a child this dr. really doesn't know what he is doing the problem didn't change at all only that my child was in pain for 2 days went to another dr. and the problem was solved after one visit

Beyond disappointed and upset . For the chief of surgery he has no idea what he is doing . My biggest regret was ever coming here to do my sons surgery. Please go elsewhere and save yourself the stress. My sons issue is STILL not resolved after numerous visits.

Horrible experience. I spent 1.5 getting to the office and was 20 mins late with my 6yo child. As I walked it, the front desk person said that the dr will prob npt see us bc we r late. Then she goes to check and tells me to reschedule. Then I realise that without telling me they scheduled my apt with an RN, not the dr. They said that Friedman dont see patients with bed wetting. My daughter has a completely different problem. The staff was extremely rude and refused to have us seen.

recommend dr friedman!! He was confident in what he did, ams worked quixkly and had alot of patience!highly recommend!
