List of Excel Urgent Care Of New Hyde Park's Reviews
I visited this urgent care yesterday around 136pm. I was quickly called by the receptionist who asked me for my ID and insurance. He even asked me the name of the Pharmacy. He, then told me to go to room number 4. Ten minutes later , a lady walks in . She used the stethoscope over the two thick layered clothing I was wearing and told me my lungs sound completely fine but medication will be prescribed, I went there because I was having breathing difficulty and mentioned my head pounding when I cough. She walks out of the room saying "ok we are done", and I followed her. I noticed her walking out of the building and immediately driving away. I was feeling so giddy as I walked out but since the person told me everything is clear, I thought I would be fine. I go by the Pharmacy after a while only to find out no medication was prescribed for me. 741pm , this office calls me to ask "who took your blood pressure?" I said" No one, My vitals were not taken!!" They put me on hold, Then the provider who saw me asks me this question " Can you tell me why you came to the office today?". When I asked the doctor "why does she want to know the info via phone when you already saw me and should have charted". She decides to chastise me instead of apologizing by saying " let's not play a tic tac game here " No one charted my information . No one took my vitals. How unprofessional to then call me in the evening .What if my health took off to a worse turn? P.S. I have been to this place 2 years ago and had left a positive review.
If I could I would give this place zero stars. Staff is extremely rude. Medical assistant doesn’t know how to take a blood pressure. The NP didn’t even exam me and spent less than one minute in the room with me before slamming door in our face as exiting the room. Extremely unprofessional and when prescribed medication didn’t send it over to the pharmacy for over 5 hours. Staff clearly needs more training in all departments.
Excellent facility. Clean, efficient, and professional.
Seth is great he had me & my daughter laughing even though I was feeling crumby, he’s great & we were seen quick. Definitely recommend.
If I could I would give this place 0 starts. 2 times in a row refused service . The staff is very u helpful and refuses to see you even when u have an appointment.
I went to EXCEL URGENT CARE for the first time today - and I thought the staff was friendly and efficient! I did have to wait for awhile - but they gave me a time and they stuck to it - to a tee. The P.A. there was was very nice and performed a quick exam and recommended some medicine for a bad cough that I had. I would definitely go to this urgent care center again, if need be. They are conveniently located right on the corner of HILLSIDE AVENUE & LAKEVILLE ROAD!
They recognized my urgency and took me right away. They were caring and respectful. They made me feel heard, seen and at ease. I thought urgent care was going to be a bad experience but I was wrong. This place makes you feel better!
Fast curtsey professional and efficient ! I would highly recommend this office for urgent care
Nurse who administered the tests was great he should be running the place. The doctor couldn't get done fast enough and left us with no real answer. Reception was cold impersonal and short. Wait time over 2.5 hours. Will never go back. Using City MD
Very good people. Excellent service. Good to be with you guys. Thanks.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
