Killed my daughter. Wrong medication that doesn't go thru Blood Brain barriner. Practices blood issues and that IS NOT LUNG CANCER. She died of brain and spinal cancer having nothing to do with LUNGS. Company was Nassau Suffolk Hemo Associates they killed a patient and had to change name. 1984, My husband used this company after Sloan said there was nothing more they could do. Go to someone ...

My mom was diagnosed with breast cancer that went to the bone. I was given Dr. Staszewski, my mom who is passed 80 years old is the most comfortable with this doctor that I have ever seen in my life. I am so happy with his care and his bed side manner. I thank God everyday that he has given me a doctor that has helped my mom not only live longer but who actually makes my mom smile when she goes to his office. I hope he knows that he has made a significant difference to our entire family.

Had problems with chemo..Had to go to the ER..was in a lot of pain. I notified his office I was going to the ER . i tried several times to reach him...purposely went to the ER at the hospital he is affiliated with so that he would be aware of what I was going thru...I called his office 3 times. He never got back to me and never came to see me at the hospital. I saw him outside my door 4 nights after I was admitted..however, he never came in.. he turned around and walked away. After my family issued complains to the CC, he called one week after I got out of the hospital to ask how I was doing...

Dr Staszewsi is one of the kindest and most knowledgeable doctors I have ever known. The one review that says “he doesn’t care past billable hours” is so off the mark that it upset me. He’s on top of all the latest medical developments and he takes a great deal of time to explain everything. And he has a sense of humour! He has helped alleviate my anxiety over my blood condition. Helped me through a difficult time with excellent care, Hoping for a cure not just treatment! His great compassion was without a doubt the hope I needed to come through cancer victorious! This doctor was referred to me by my friend's husband in the same fiels of medication but 1,000 miles away. I can't say enough good about thus dear wonderful, compassionate, sincere, intelligent and HONEST physician! As a Harvard parent, I don't even hold him being a Yale alum against him ??. June 2014 a week after a stage 4 metaztized x3 diagnoses, he was a God send while@Winthrop. Our joint decisions enabled my husband, the patient have quality of life&could hold 1st Grandchild & baptism

I have been a patient of Dr. STaszewski's since 1986. What I love the most about him, besides his expertise, is the fact that he is low-key and not an alarmist. There is enough anxiety to deal with during your diagnosis and he goes through your treatment with you in a calm and matter-of-fact fashion which helps you stay calm. I have moved to Florida and have changed doctors, but I will never forget him and how he has kept me alive with my diagnosis of non-Hodgkin lymphoma.
