Thank you From the minute I walked in I felt at ease. Dr Brisman explained what my issue was calmly and clearly. He did not push me to make a decision instead told me I could come back w a family member or think things over for a few days. Carol was friendly and upbeat.I feel comfortable w my upcoming surgery. Highly recommend this Dr and his staff.

Horrible experience I am diagnosed with very serious complex chronic inflammatory illnesses that have been documented via medical testing . In addition —Digital motion x ray, CT angiogram MRI with flexion and extension and sonogram show that I have cervical instability with venous outflow obstruction and vagus nerve degeneration - all causing painful symptoms and nervous system dysregulation . Within 10 minutes of my appt beginning , Dr Brisman told me that my problems were psychological , and he dismissed me . I suppose that he didn’t want to be bothered and doesn’t have the wherewithal to understand such a complex medical case . I don’t appreciate the gaslighting and closed minded attitude.

It’s unfortunate that an educated capable experienced doctor would leave me in a state of distress and without trying to understand my medical needs.

STAY AWAY. Dr. Brisman performed a microdiscetomy and a laminectomy on me. He gave me no information going into the surgery as far as that I would need to hire help, get a lifted toilet seat and other things I found out I needed. He also never saw me post surgery, and after making an appointment a week and a half after because of the pain iI was in, they left me in the waiting room for an hour before I walked out because it was too painful to sit. And according to what I've read I shouldn't be sitting for more than 20 minutes. The assistant had the worst attitude and asked if I wanted to reschedule. I walked out of the practice and calmed myself down and walked back in and Dr. Brisman was standing there and asked his assistant "Is that him?" This guy doesn't care and is just booking surgeries. He then tells me I need to see my regular Dr after I show him how my torso looks twisted to the right and tells me he will prescribe a muscle relaxer and walks out. 10 Minutes later his assistant walks back in and asks to confirm my pharmacy. I asked if the Dr. was coming back in and she said no. I said this is ridiculous. It's been a week and a half and he has not even told me anything about how the surgery went, what I should or shouldn't be doing, and for how long. I called the office manager and she was helpful in getting me info from the other surgeons there. I would stay well clear from Dr. Brisman if you want a Dr. that actually cares about you.

Both Monica and Dr Brisman were pleasant and very helpful. He listen to all my questions and gave me detailed answers. He was professional.

Dr Brisman was very informative. He gave a detailed explanation of my condtion and the options that were available for treatment.

Good bedside manner, knowledgeable, competent and compassionate . The office staff nice , kind and knowledgeable.
