I went to see Dr. Chen because I was experiencing bleeding from my nipple. She fit me into her schedule ASAP and had me in for surgery shortly after. I had a breast duct removed that was the source of bleeding. Biopsy revealed it was cancerous"ductal carcinoma". She then had me do a genetic test for BRCA 1 & 2 genes, which confirmed BRCA 2. Next step given that confirmation was double mastectomy. That was hard to hear but Dr. Chen was amazing about it all kind, compassionate and reassuring that my cancer was caught super early. She took her time with me, answered all my questions, handed me tissues to wipe up my tears and was just a beacon of positivity. I feel truly lucky she was in my corner through this experience. She made a horrible reality bearable. She has made sure I will get to take my 50th birthday trip of a lifetime even though I had breast cancer. I also absolutely love her laugh it's infectious. I can't thank her enough. 💗

I can't thank her enough. You may have a short wait time but that is because she takes her time with all patients. Receiving a cancer diagnosis isn't easy and she doesn't just drop the bomb and run. She will stay with you and answer questions.

One of the few that I would highly recommend, as she's very thorough with what she does. Dr. Chen takes the time to make sure that you understand the treatment plan, next steps, as well as what the best course of action to make sure you can make the most informed decision. The flexibility of having 2 offices to visit also helped with being able to reach Dr. Chen when we needed to do so.

Just be prepared to deal with the incompetent front desk! Heard great things about this doctor but couldn't get an appointment because the front desk couldn't verify if they took my insurance or not. Empire BCBS PPO.

Dr. Chen is a wonderful doctor and pleasant. Her bedside manners are phenomenal. She takes her time to listen to your concerns, examine, and then review imaging with you in her office. I walked in with anxiety but walked out feeling confident that everything was okay!

Dr. Margaret Chen recently performed breast surgery for my mom. Dr. Chen is a superb surgeon with exceptional clinical skills and more importantly with a very caring heart. She is always very patient and reassuring! Her entire team of staff is also wonderful, they are quick to repsond to our questions and expeditiously facilitate the surgery in a timely manner! We are so grateful for Dr. Chen and her team's service! Thank you Dr. Chen!

I just had a surgrey to remove atypical hyperplasia in both breasts. Dr. Chen used radar localization to remove the lesions. The crossings were small and the recovery was excellent. My family doctor and people around me all recommended Dr. Chen to do this surgrey. It seems that I made the right choice. She is really skilled in medicine and has solved all my questions.

After meeting with Dr. Chen, I felt calm and less anxious about the impending surgery. There was no pain and no noticeable scaring. She is supported by a very caring office staff and surgical team.
