List of William L. Blau's Reviews
i am one of Dr. Blau patient he had help me a lot with my Health issues .
Dr. Blau has horrible bedside manners. Inperson he is rude and condescending. My mom was a patient of his. Due to her limited English I went to translate. He was upset rude and short tempered when asked a question. He did not give me time to translate his response. It was as if how dare I question him. He opened the door and responded in the doorway. I highly suggest another doctor if you want to be treated like a human being. I’m appalled with his behavior and lack of professionalism.

I didn’t wait at all, they took me in right away each time. Dr. Blau was very thorough and called me himself with my test results. Everyone was professional and courteous
I came to use Dr. Blau recently as he is an Internist/Cardiologist. He was all business and had no desire to have any kind of a connection with me as a patient. I visited him today (8/18/2020) for an echocardiogram. While is was there I told him that i felt my sinuses may be inflamed as this is a chronic problem i have. Dr. Blau has listed himself an internist as well as a cardilogist, yet he refused to look up my nasal cavity, telling me that I should go to an ENT. If he says he is an internist, then he should act like one, and not just try to get rid of me. There were several other questions i asked him, and he was totally annoyed and actually sarcastic.
I started seeing Dr. Blau after I had my son in 2016 I had preeclampsia and post partum hypertension. Nobody could get my pressure under control. He was recommended by a friend of a friend and ever since then he’s been my doctor. He got my pressure under control. He is an Excellent doctor. He is always there to answer any questions no matter when you contact him . I’m sure I drive him nuts but he always responds quickly. Been having a tough time lately and he was the one who found what was ailing me after 3 ER visits which were inconclusive. He doesn’t mess around , he is no nonsense but he will crack a smile once in a while :)
I truly wish I could Give no stars . Dr. Blau was the “on call doctor “ the night my grandfather (94 years old) passed away . Unfortunately, it was the middle of the night when this had happened (obviously out of anyone’s control) and protocol has it that since he passed away in his home , the police and EMT are the first to respond to declare him deceased . Part of this process, the police had to speak with my grandfather’s doctor or the “doctor on call” from this practice to confirm that my grandfather was under the care of this practice .When Dr. Blau was contacted he Had told the police , this is a matter that could wait until the morning and hung up. Not only were we, the grieving family, shocked at this response , The police and the medical examiner were also dumbfounded. You see , if you are ever in this situation where you chose to keep a loved one at home to pass peacefully , the body can not be moved from the house until this gets cleared .

Because Dr. Blau’s beauty rest was interrupted by a loyal patient of his practice they were unable to remove my grandfather body until a few hours later . Now I am absolutely not in the habit of writing review in general especially not negative ones but I think He should be on blast for the way he disrespected my 94 year old grandfather . Last I was Aware “doctors on call” are made available at all hours for their patients . I have Zero respect for this man and he gives his practice a Horrible name . His associate who my grandfather was a patient of couldn’t believe this himself . I hope This review helps others .
Dr Blau is an excellent physician He has been treating me for over 20 years after having 4 heart attacks, he has kept me going. I highly recommend him. He is a no- nonsense doctor , which I appreciate. Thank you Doctor Blau for all you have done for me .
Dr. Blau is exceptional, but his office personnel are far from professional. The answer questions they don't know the answers to which ends up costing you out-of-pocket. Their response when you question is "That's not something we would know the answer to, call your insurance company" after assuring you not to worry when they answered in the first place. He is too good of a doctor to have that kind of staff working for him. (he is 5 stars, office is 0)

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
