MIchel Cohen Md's Online Review Report Card

One of the best pediatricians!!!!!!

It used to be that customers could reach their doctor, and even Michel, head of practice, to share their concerns about their child's health and discuss results of tests and referrals, now one is lucky if they can even make an appointment without being asked to call back for a variety of absurd reasons, many of them making absolutely no sense and being later denied to have ever occurred by the office staff. The doctors may be good but their ever increasing lack of availability and lateness for scheduled appointments is growing very tiresome. As for the phone staff who mediate all calls, what is the problem!? Are they no longer trained or are they simply being told that inadequacy in providing assistance is the way to go! I have been a client of that practice for close to 20 years and all my children. I used to feel quite happy with the way things used to run but over the past 2 years it seems that this practice has become increasingly factory-like and consistently less and less welcoming and helpful. So disappointing!

Cohen's Tribeca Pediatrics is a complete disappointment. The doctors are far behind the curve when it comes to accurate and timely diagnosis. Do not risk your child's health going to this practice. Every time we have gone there, some nurse practitioner will show up - and convince us nothing is wrong with our child's health. Finally when you persist, she will bring in some MD who will have a look and say yes there is an infection. So why did you mislead us in the first place? shocking.

Great doctor but can be a little bossy.

He's no nonsense, gives valuable parenting advice, has excellent intuition. Once when my son was very sick he made himself completely available, gave me his cell number to contact him any time. He has strong opinions, some I agreed with, some I didn't, but I still consider him to be one of the best doctors I have ever used.
