Once again, a great visit with Dr. Frew. I went in for a skin check up and a skin issue. She was able to diagnose my problem right away. I feel very comfortable in her beautiful clean office and with her wonderful bedside manners. Also, lots of free samples in her waiting room. I had to stop seeing her for awhile since she no longer accepted my other insurance, but last open season, I selected the insurance she accepts just so I could go back to her. This is how much I like her! Other dermatologists don't compare! She's a very thorough and skilled doctor.

Let me know my they do not take my insurance last min., canceled my appointment, then charged me a late fee. I spoke to someone in the office saying they would waive it due to it being their fault. Still received a bill, and still receiving phone calls to pay. Unorganized office. Poor business practice. Avoid.

I highly recommend Dr. Kathryn Frew as a dermatologist you can trust. Her office is clean and she has excellent bedside manners. I have been to many dermatologists in my life, having the type of skin that is extremely sensitive and breaks out easily. Heck, I've even been to Dr. Zizmor. Dr. Frew is ethical, professional and extremely bright. She is also a skilled dermatological surgeon, so if you need anything taken off, she is the doc for you. Her office contains many fancy gadgets for laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, and anything else you need for better, younger skin. I'm glad she has after work hours, so I can work a full day and see her after work. Having been to her office several times, I feel comfortable with her and her assistant, and so will you.

Went to see her for a skin check this year and had a mole removed. Staff was fine, she was fine, seemed nice actually. She sells a line of skin care but did not try to sell me anything, which I appreciated.

I never ended up seeing the doctor - the office staff was disgraceful! I made an appointment one month in advance - had my referral faxed over in plenty of time. The day of my appointment they told me they no longer took my insurance and refused to honor my appointment, even though someone had called to confirm my appt. the day before. They kept me sitting in the waiting while the office staff chatted and laughed in the back. They were rude, patronizing and completely incompetent! This was the worst experience I have ever had with any office in NY!
