His office staff are so disrespectful. The girl wouldn't come out to talk to me and made me stay in the hallway and yell thru the door I am hard of hearing. She refused to tell me if she would bill my insurance company. All she said was Medicare well I cannot risk that as I am on disability. I traveled an hour to get there only to be made to wait in the lobby for awhile past my appt time. Finally I gave up and said "I'm done" and called my ride to go home. I sent them a message saying I was going to report this behavior to Medicare just in case they think they are going to bill them for a visit I never had!
I had Mohs surgery that was expertly and kindly done. Minimal scar after 10 stitches on my face. Highly recommend Dr. Zippoli.
this was my second visit/procedure with dr, Zipoli on both visits he successfully removed a melanoma; the second a carcinoma. he takes his time to explain perfectly the procedure; and to answer questions. the melanoma was handled years ago, and has never returned, yearly visits determined the cancer was destroyed. to say he is friendly and generous with his time would be an understatement.
I asked for a quote before I had my procedure & explained to them that I would be responsible for the amount because my insurance does not cover outpatient surgery until the deductible is met. I was give 2 quotes that ranged from $354-$398 (amount they would bill the insurance) & after the insurance discount my portion would be $270-$304. What they actually billed my insurance was $918 & my portion is over $500!!!! They told me the almost $600 difference is because I had 3 stitches!!! How did a surgeon not know that he was going to have to close the incision??!! I will never go here again.
Saw Dr. Zipoli 2 weeks ago to excise a benign cyst. He was professional and personable. Took time to answer all my questions and give me detailed instructions. The stitches were taken out today. I can already tell that I will have only a very thin scar that will be noticeable by only me. Very different from a cyst I had removed—by another doctor— 3 years ago. There I have a noticeable scar, which I plan on having Dr. Zipoli fix in future.
I feel very confident in Dr. Zipoli's expertise as a dermatologist. He has an excellent manner, but even more important is his skill as a diagnostician and surgeon. I highly recommend.
Dr. Zipoli sets the standard for excellence that all doctors/surgeons should aspire to. He's competent, deft, knowledgeable, focused and does marvelous work. He exudes confidence and passion for his work. I've had three procedures involving various cancers on my ear, temple, face and chest - and they all went exceedingly well. His restoration work and stitching is a work of art. And, he's friendly, interesting, has a great sense of humor and is willing to spend as much time as needed explaining things, even during procedures. A great guy; a great doctor.
He is very friendly and easy to talk to, and good about answering questions. He does excellent work, and is very thorough-- he takes the time to make sure you are completely satisfied.
A very courteous and professional Doctor.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
