List of Stark Clifford's Reviews
My son and my husband have both gone to Dr Clifford. Dr Clifford is extremely knowledgeable, patient centered and an extremely talented doctor. He is very communicative and gives excellent care. He has helped both my husband with knee pain as well as my son, who is a competitive soccer player with foot pain.I am an acupuncturist and refer my patients to this practice. Highly recommended!
I saw Dr Srark for the sports head injury. He was very diligent throughout the two appointments I had so far with him.He spent time with me and was interested in hearing every single detail about my incident and conditions , in addition to performing a neurological exam in order to make the most accurate assessment. I also appreciate that he and his assistant didn't rush me to CAT and MRI , as my usual experience with sports injuries with other doctors, who spent a way less time with me in person during the appointments. Dr Stark also sends follow up notes that are very helpful. He is quite pleasant as a person - a bonus for NYC. I am familiar with Dr A. Friedman who is mentioned in one of the previous reviews here, and I have to note- while Dr Friedman is a solid doctor as well, , he is specifically focused on foot problems and even though I was established patient with Dr Friedman it never occurred to me to see him for head and neck injuries. These doctors are very different in many ways. Just noting. Overall Dr Stark has been a wonderful doctor- patience experience for me and highly recommend him.
AVOID DR STARK. My knee used to hurt after long bike rides. I saw Dr Stark, he gave me a knee injection and now my knee hurts every day. Every day. My walk is different, my sleep is affected from the pain.AVOID DR STARK.
Dr stark and his team are wonderful. I have a very obscure case I’ve been suffering for almost 2 years and I finally found a place that assesses me from all angles with caution and care and uses the proper modalities to diagnose and treat my condition. They have gone above and beyond for me after only a few visits, very kind, caring and straightforward at same time. I’m so lucky to have found them after this long journey of misery and providers that can only handle 1% of the job. I highly recommend this place.

I had hand problems (cubital tunnel syndrome) and was referred by PCP to Chelsa sports medicine. I spent 6 months there and my situations was not improved a single bit. Then the bills came later after I stop going and some of the services were out of network and they did not disclose that information before the visit. I billing were messy and they charged me high than my responsibilities according to my insurance coverage. He will not bill you in the beginning until later so watch out if you are no getting no results or improving.
Never did imaging on a severe injury. Insisted physical therapy and PRP would heal a badly damaged ankle. After alomst 2 years from the injury I needed reconstructive surgery with a reputable doctor. Would never return to Dr Stark.
Dr. Stark is very thorough. As a teaching doctor, he explains things very clearly. Great bedside manner too.

Selection Criteria
All the information you see here is based on our analysis of internet reviews across the seven major review platforms most used by consumers during their healthcare provider selection. The platforms we selected are Google, WebMD, Yelp, HealthGrades, Facebook, RateMDs, and Vitals. The analysis algorithm uses the compiled data of average score, recency of reviews, number of reviews, and the sentiment expressed in the written comments. It then assigns weight to each parameter based on the available research on how consumers use reviews in their doctor selection process. This report is designed to help identify the doctors with the best overall review score in an area and does not reflect the doctors' competence.
