Ab Acupuncture's Online Review Report Card

I was given custom herbs as part of my treatment and I believe I had a bad reaction to them. When I called the office I spoke to some guy who answered the phone and said Annalisa would call me back, she never did. This avoidance to speak with me was a red flag for me, so I looked into her more. She only went to school for acupuncture, she did not specialize in herbs or what they call “Chinese Medicine” only in acupuncture. She does list the degree in her about me, but how are we supposed to know the difference? On her site she holds herself out to be a Chinese Herbalist capable of treating Lymes and other diseases using “custom herbal formulas”. I feel this is very dishonest and I believe she has no business doing custom herbal formulas in the way she holds herself to be and making people sick. I’m reporting her to the state licensing board and recommend everyone STAY AWAY.

After the first treatment, an instability in my hips that I had become such a part of me that I didn't even notice it until it was gone, totally resolved. The cramping was gone within a couple of months, and the numbness and tingling in my feet gets better all the time. Annalisa's training and experience are obvious, but more important is that she really listens to me and takes my intuitive understanding of my body into consideration at every treatment. I fully believe that my wonderful results have as much to do with her natural gifts as with her significant expertise.

Annalisa is the best acupuncturist I have ever been treated by. And I have been to quite a few. She is extremely skilled, knowledgeable, thoughtful, emphatic, helpful and a terrific person as well. I am so glad I was referred to her by my GP.

I have been blessed to meet the caring and loving professionals at AB Acupuncture. Carly in particular is a brilliant caregiver. My worst fear is that she cures me 100% and I won't have any reason to keep visiting her. Hopefully I remain at 95% better and I can continue going back for my every other week pain maintenance. AND Annalisa not only steps in when needed to help with my treatments, she sends life affirming emails in times of stress to help all her patients cope. Love my peeps at AB. Annalisa has treated me for various injuries and recoveries (rotator cuff, broken fingers, Achilles tendon), as well as general wellness. Her care, and the results from it, are exceptional. She has helped me to manage my severe allergies, chronic headaches, and inoperable spondylolisthesis in my lower back. During COVID, I couldn't get a visa for Japan in time to help my grandmother through hospice care, and Annalisa then additionally treated my acute anxiety and depression--with empathy, kindness, and compassion. She has always gone above and beyond, and I could not be more grateful to have found her. Her office manager, Shaneka, responds quickly re: scheduing and helps me manage my standing appointments.
