I absolutely LOVE Dr. Howard! She is extremely thorough and diligent. Dermatology is her passion. And she knows her stuff. I see her for alopecia. She’s has provided and shared so much knowledge. I’ve also received my first skin cancer prevention screening and it was very thorough. Dr. Howard is caring and brilliant and I highly recommend.

I sincere believe Dr. Howard embodies the highest integrity in her practice. She is extremely patient, deeply informative, and has a gift for making her patients feel both heard and empowered in their care decisions. She is the only doctor/dermatologist who has ever taken the time to inquire about my mental well-being, recognizing how stress and emotional health affect my skin’s journey. Beyond simply diagnosing, she carefully explained my options, answered all my questions, and ensured I felt supported every step of the way. Her approach combines medical expertise with genuine compassion, making her truly an exceptional healer.

I have finally found the right dermatologist. The receptionist welcome you and the decor makes you feel right at home! Dr. Howard takes the time to listen and addressed my concerns without the medical jargons. In addition, Dr. Howard-Verovic explained the procedure, what to expect and everything went accordingly. I felt more at home than in a doctor's office. The Active Dermatology team makes you feel like family and at home. I am recommending ACTIVE DERMATOLOGY 1000% times 1000% and many times over!!!!

I was honestly optimistic about this doctor she seemed nice but her front desk receptionist have me having second thoughts about coming back because it is my first time getting talked to by a receptionist in a condescending way in a doctors office for asking questions.

First of all, the office is beautifully decorated in shades of black and white. Minimalistic but functional. Second, her staff is warm, personable and professional and you immediately feel like welcomed. Third, Dr. Howard herself is a gem! She listened ,diagnosed and is treating my scarring alopecia. Youre in exceptional hands if you choose her as your dermatologist..

I started going to Active Dermatology this spring. First time for a medical reason, second time for a cosmetic procedure. I’m very impressed with Dr. Howard and her team. Very welcoming, knowledgeable, and skilled. I’m very happy with the treatments I’ve received so far. Definitely returning for my future skin care needs. I highly recommend Active Dermatology.

Dr. Howard has a warm and kind presence that immediately puts you at ease. I’ve received a lot of compliments after following her recommendations. The front desk staff is also very pleasant—whenever I’ve missed their call, they've always made sure to get back to me.
