Dr. Masa has been treating me for the past several months. He was referred to me by a friend. I initially sought treatment for several health issues I have been experiencing for about four years, including chronic pain, loss of smell and taste, allergies, and sinus issues. More recently, I also developed some GI-related issues, such as loss of appetite, acid reflux, and mild IBS. As part of my treatment, Dr. Masa has been performing acupuncture to help with my pain and symptoms. He also recommended that I try some herbal supplements for my allergies and Koso fermented drink for my GI issues. It has been about two and a half months now, and I have started to feel relief. I have regained my sense of smell and taste. Additionally, I discovered that I no longer need to use my inhaler for my asthma. I couldn’t believe it because I had been using my inhaler for the past three years, sometimes on a daily basis. I can breathe much better now, and my allergies have also improved. As for my GI issues, I feel significantly better from drinking the Koso. My GI doctor had prescribed medication for me, but I no longer need to take it, as my acid reflux and IBS symptoms have improved. Dr. Masa is the 5th acupuncturist I am seeing and is the only one I find that has really understood my symptoms and treats me accordingly. For the first time in 4 years I am starting to feel like my “normal” self again and feel the majority of my symptoms have improved. Thank you Dr Masa!

Adachi-sensei is very knowledgeable and takes time to explain why/how placing needles in one part of the body will work on another. I needed treatment for back pain and he looked at the whole body alignment and why I was having back pain. Sessions are very relaxing and I usually doze off during the treatment.

After experiencing a prolonged period of post viral fatigue I found Masayuki Adachi. From the first appointment he listened carefully to my concerns and my health goals. His kind and gentle manner immediately put me at ease. He is a skilled practitioner and uses needling, shiatsu and Chinese herbs to effect improvement. An excellent acupuncturist. I was happy when Masa quickly and accurately identified areas for improvement and underlying issues during my first session, and adjusting treatment as needed during subsequent one. I initially took on 10 sessions and have just scheduled 10 more. Masa is thoughtful, communicative and transparent, and I feel restored after years of not knowing where chronic issues stemmed from. He uses thin needles, which are largely painless. The studio is intimate with little fuss. It can be difficult to schedule a convenient appointment time because of my demanding work schedule, but nevertheless, highly recommend.

Dr. Adachi is not only knowledgeable but also very patient to listen to our concerns. He helped me with my knee pain which I had struggled with several times in the past and was willing to teach me how to prevent it from happening in the future!! He is the best acupuncturist I've ever met.

I thoroughly enjoy my sessions with Masa, not only have my headaches gotten considerably better since he started my course of treatment, I also learn something new every time I see him. He is very kind, thorough and knowledgeable and always takes his time to explain everything. He’s a miracle worker in my book and thanks to him I have more energy, I sleep better and I feel like my old self again. I cannot recommend him enough.
