I cannot begin to express how scared I was when I walked into this office, being diagnosed and not knowing what to expect on this visit. Dr. Alessio's staff is truly amazing! They are kind, caring and they go out of their way to make you feel that you are in good hands. As for Dr. Alessio, he is gentle, kind and most importantly made me feel safe. He took his time to explain next steps, and assured me that I would get through this process and be okay. I felt like I was with family and not in a Dr.'s office. Thank you so very much!

If not for a doctor like Dr. Pigazzi and his amazing staff, I don't think I would have been able to get through my situation. I thank G-d everyday that Dr. Pigazzi was chosen as the messenger. His caring and true concern for me was absolutely amazing, and was obvious that it filtered down to his staff. Shout out to RN Katie who actually called me to see how I was doing a couple of weeks out of surgery. Don't ever want to go thru this again G-d forbid! but....

I thank God that I was fortunate to be recommended to Dr. Pigazzi thru a cancer organization that set up my first appointment with him on my behalf. At the time I met him, I had two conflicting opinions from 2 different hospital's and their respective surgical teams on how to deal with and perform the surgery necessary for my colorectal cancer. One of these Hospital's was recommending a much more severe surgery. Dr Pigazzi disagreed with their opinion and took the position of the other hospital. He was very confident and was patient to answer my questions. I also did my own independant research on Dr Pigazzi and realized that he is a world class expert in Robotic ColoRectal surgery. We had a couple of zoom calls and I decided to use Dr Pigazzi. My experience has been extremely positive. My surgery was a success, my recovery was fantastic, and I am so happy with my decision to use him and his staff. Katie, his nurse, was also very patient in answering all my initial questions and concerns with honesty and care. She checks up on me and cares about me. Lauren sets up my appointments and is also very pleasant to deal with. Dr Pigazzi is a world class expert. He is very confident, knows exactly what he is talking about, speaks honestly and straight, and is very patient and caring. My experience has only been positive. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr Pigazzi and his staff for anyone who has colorectal issues. I personally will only be using him in the future for my follow up care. I W

I can't describe how grateful I am to Dr. Pigazzi and his team for saving my mom's life. My mom survived cancer. She was treated in another hospital. When her previous surgeon refused to do a reverse ostomy, I decided to go to Weil Cornel Hospital. Luckily, we found Dr. Pigazzi in time. The operation was supposed to be a reverse stoma, but it turned out that my mother had some organs mixed with each other, and her intestinal hernia became simply huge. The operation lasted 5 hours. That day I was very afraid of losing my mother. But thank God and Dr. Pigazzi she opened her eyes. God bless him and his family!
