I went today to see Dr Yakaboski. I highly recommend her. She was incredibly attentive, knowledgeable and efficient. I had environmental testing today and will do food testing on Monday. I was seen early and was out of the office within 50 minutes. An hour after I left, I received a detailed email with all my results. Terrific!

In August of 2022, I decided to make an appointment agreeing upfront to pay $1,500.00 for a test to determine if I have a penicillin allergy. At the time I realized how outrageously high the cost was for an office visit. Nonetheless, I kept my appointment. It got worse from there. My time spent there began with having to complete extensive forms and was exacerbated by waiting to see the attending Allergist. Once in the room, I went over my responses on the forms with the Allergist. After an hour elapsed, the Allergist proceeded to juggle me with other patients and duties. The penicillin allergy test never occurred because while there I requested a food allergy test and the Allergist decided to prioritize that over the penicillin test. The Allergist surprised me when he asked me to schedule the penicillin test for another time. Overall, I spent 2 1/2 hours there and felt disappointment. I scheduled another appointment and checked-out. Twenty minutes after I exited the office and as I walked down Madison Avenue - I received a call from the office assistant suggesting that I owed an additional $500.00 for the office visit - an amount that I vehemently opposed. I won't describe my reaction in this review, but you can guess. Nothing else needs to be said. Though the penicillin allergy test was scheduled a few weeks later, the office never called to confirm the appointment and neither did I.

Dr. Lighvani and his team were amazing! I had a reaction to the first Covid vaccine and wanted to know if I could receive the second dose. I met with Dr. Lighvani who did extensive allergy testing to make sure I was not allergic to one of the vaccine components. He even tested me twice to be sure. When he said I should be ok to receive the second dose, he made sure to speak to the Doctor at the hospital where I would be receiving the vaccine so that he could let them know my situation and what they should have ready for me in case I needed care. He is a truly compassionate doctor who is thorough in his testing and goes the extra mile to help his patients and keep them safe. The whole staff there was so kind! Thank you again!

Dr. Toh is wonderful. She helped me get a diagnosis that I've been searching for for years. The office is extremely clean and the front desk is so nice. Dr. Toh is wonderful at calling back even though she has hundreds of patients. She's good at remembering your issues and extremely thorough in her testing. I'm so thankful to have found her. Dr. Lighvani is also very kind and knowledgeable. One time he had to do a scope on me to check my vocal cords. I highly recommend this office to anyone who has allergy issues.
