Weill Cornell doctors always make you feel you are in good hands, and Dr Yang is one of them. Explains very clearly and thoroughly what you need to know about your condition and responds quickly to questions and concerns. One of the few doctors I have been to that cares for her patients.

I started seeing Allison Yang in mid 2022. She is pleasant and seems knowledgeable. My biggest complaint is communication and my recent experience has left me frustrated and looking for a new doctor not affliated with WC. It is difficult to get ahold of her to answer questions through Weill Cornell connect or by phone. Whenever I call on the phone, I wait at least 20 mins before I speak with a person who takes a message. I am told that they will respond within 24 hours but that is not necessarily true. This is similar with WC connect portal. Dr Yang scheduled blood tests but she failed to mention that I needed to fast before tests taken. I found out once I arrived at the blood testing site and needed to rescheduled. Again, my doctor did not mention during my phone meeting or any follow up written in the portal or on the referral. I was scheduled for an endoscopy and received notices addressed to Dr. Yang from my insurance company that procedure was not approved on more than one occasion. I called doctor's office, left message by phone and on connect site, and no response. Only spoke with doctor's office when they called to review prep procedures and again with anesthesiologist. I have not dealt with an illness before but this experience has left me frustrated and seems totally unprofessional.

Dr. Yang listens carefully, had reviewed my records before our meeting, and made suggestions on how to move forward, taking into account my age.

My first time with Dr Yang and it was a zoom visit. I dislike zoom but it may be convenient for a first visit... I shall know more about her md skills as after a couple of visits.
