Dr Allyson Ocean is an outstanding oncologist -- both brilliant and kind. Her team is also excellent. I feel that I could not just have a disease treated but be healed in a more human way by the compassionate and expert care I have received from Dr. Ocean, her department, and the other parts of NYP / Weill Cornell responsible for my care.

When I first met my oncologist in 2007, we had that instant connection. Dr. Ocean has been a blessing to me and to others sent from heaven above. Her kindness, compassion, and concern is so greatly appreciated. Dr. Ocean takes the time to listen and to make her patients feel valued and respected. She always go above and beyond and work tirelessly towards a healthy outcome. I feel so blessed to know her and have her as my oncologist. I’ve been working with Dr Ocean as my oncologist for 5 years for colorectal cancer with cancer recurrence in lung. She’s terrific - smart, knows her field, and she’s kind and thoughtful. Her assessment of my condition throughout this period was right on target and she probably saved my life. I’m indebted to her and you won’t find a better oncologist.
