Alta Physical Therapy's Online Review Report Card

Very knowledgeable. Everytime I had to visit Alta I came home feeling so much better. One time I took the train into the city barely walking and I needed a cab to go uptown to get to Alta. After a visit with Scott, he adjusted me and I walked back to Penn Station feeling like new. He gave me simple exercised to keep me adjusted and I ran a half marathon that next weekend that I had been training for. Anyone looking for a physical therapist will not be disappointed if they go to Alta. Its definitely worth the trip into the city if you don't live there.

If you need a physical therapist Alta Physical Therapy is the place to go hands-down! My physical therapist was Scott and he was terrific. They provide an hour for your first appt in order to get a complete medical history and focus on your musculoskeletal condition that needs attention. Scott is very thorough and an attentive listener. The next appointment is a half an hour and Scott remains with you throughout the session. Our work together was very helpful in alleviating my pain.You are given exercises to do at home. Scott takes pictures of the exercises you have done together to ensure proper form when you are doing them alone. Alta Physical Therapy rocks!

Professionalism and deep concern for patients are hallmarks of Alta's staff. Before designing a regimen to help me cope with a flare-up of acute back pain, owner and therapist Toni carefully evaluated my doctor's RX and x-rays, as well as my gait and stance, Under her guidance I learned exercises and movements that I continue to do at home daily, 2 years after I first came for help. I attribute my substantial progress and relative lack of pain to the help I received at Alta.

You go here, they give you the best service in the world, and your injuries are minimized as much as humanly possible. This is the all star team of the all star teams of physical therapy. If they were a restaurant they would have three Michelin stars. I will never again go anywhere else.

Alta is far superior to any other place that I have gone to in the past. They are simply the BEST.

I have extensive experience with orthopedic problems ranging from pain to catastrophe. Scott Teagarden is the best I have ever worked with. If he moved to Queens, New Jersey, or Mars, I would endeavor to get there for his help and expertise as a physical therapist. His knowledge of the mechanics of the human body is wonderful, and he always has a working regimen to improve a patient's condition. He has brought my spine back from fracture falling from a 20-foot ladder, and he told me "I will condition your core to replace the brace you are wearing now." And he did. He is presently healing a post-operative kneecap fracture, and I am the poster girl for recovery. Walking with no evidence of impairment. Cudos, Scott!! Live long and stick around...I'm sure I'll need you.

I received excellent care from Scott. I was so satisfied with the one on one care he provided and the results. The staff are all kind, caring and professional. I would recommend Scott and Alta to anyone looking for a positive physical therapy experience.
