I waited 2.5 hours, only to be brought back to wait an additional 30 minutes for his PAs to come to the room to describe “the procedure” they would do to reconstruct my nose following Mohs Surgery. All other doctors told me there would be options and it was not clear until Mohs was over but this team had their mind made up. The doctor eventually came in, told me my questions “didn’t make sense” and then suggested I would have a terrible disfigurement if I didn’t agree to the approach he intended to take. I was a cancer patient in his office in tears and he told me I would end up with a crooked nose or an indented nose is I didn’t have him do what he was suggesting and he was not willing to take any of his time to answer basic questions. I had my nose reconstructed by a different surgeon - not following his approach - with a good outcome. He may be a good surgeon but I deserved to be treated with more respect than he showed me.
