Balzora's Online Review Report Card

No complaints.

I had a video visit . We identified my condition & a course of action. I was supposed to let her know if the condition did not resolve & she was supposed to prescribe antibiotics. Instead, when I messaged her that I was still in pain, she didn't arrange another visit, she didn't ask questions, she didn't prescribe antibiotics she essentially abandoned me saying I should seek medical attention and get some kind of test like an ultrasound, catscan etc. She didn't tell me where to seek this attention (isn't she the specialist?). She didn't specify what test. She essentially threw me to the wolves. I guess I was supposed to figure out what test & where I should find this medical attention I am just a patient not a doctor. The condition is normally treated by a gastroenterologist which she is. She should have at least referred me to someone specific & specified what type of test if she didn't want to treat me. I've never experienced this type of irresponsible disregard for my health.

Dr. Balzora is the BEST! I see Dr. Balzora frequently so in the past few years I have developed a great & trusting relationship with her. She has performed procedures on me, referred me to different specialists, and imaging tests. The care coordination process is always seamless. She is always transparent and communicates clearly. Dr. Balzora goes above and beyond to advocate for me to receive the care I deserve. Being in my mid 20s, this is not how I want to spend my time. Dr. Balzora is understanding of this, and assures I don’t miss out on my social and professional life. Dr. Balzora takes the time to provide individualized goals of care and treatment plans that are best for me as a patient. She values my wishes & has never dismissed me, or my concerns. Dr. Balzora has a brilliant mind, with extraordinary training and experience. She is extremely passionate about her work, and truly cares about her patients. The care I receive from Dr. Balzora and her staff is exceptional.

I was so grateful to find a gastroenterologist who considered my symptoms seriously and immediately found the reason. The endoscopy and colonoscopy were pain free and she was so considerate and efficient. And best of all, she found the cause. Highly recommend her!

I saw Dr. Balzora for a scheduled colonoscopy two years ago. She and her team were informative, knowledgeable, warm, reassuring and kind. I wish I could remember the anesthesiologist's name because I learned from him that the nausea I experienced from a previous surgery years prior was actually a reaction and important info, so he adjusted the type that he used for this procedure accordingly. He was absolutely a gem. Also, the detailed information the entire team provided prior to the procedure was so helpful and easy to follow.

I feel extremely fortunate to know Dr. Balzora. From the moment I entered her office, I have felt genuinely cared for. She was immediately able to guide me with my health issues and scheduled me for a colonoscopy and endoscopy. From the care by the office staff, the nurses, her anesthesiologist, and then the pre and post conversations with Dr. Balzora, I can truly say that the level of professionalism and patient care was second to none. Her patience and sincerity as well as determination to get you back to good health are above and beyond.

I've never written a review for a doctor, but Dr. Balzora is truly exceptional. She is currently treating me for my Ulcerative Colitis and I've never had a doctor treat me with such care and respect. She is warm and answers my questions without rushing me. She walks me through treatment options. It seems silly, but I've never had a doctor who told me I had treatment options, they just prescribed the medication and dismissed any concerns or issues I came to them with! I trust her. I feel really lucky to be under her care.
