It was my first visit with Dr. Candela and he was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. He answered all my questions and addressed all my concerns. I highly recommend him! I had a great experience at Columbia dermatology office on Third Ave. Check in was very efficient and waited less than 5 minutes in a busy waiting room. Dr. Candela saw me shortly after being seen by nurse who was also very nice and did not rush me.

The doctor listened well, explained the condition and the treatment very well. Though my young son, who was the patient, saw someone else before and have been having treatment, the doctor didn't dismiss his views or his treatment--he didn't rave either. He didn't rush the appointment. We found in Dr. Candela whet we needed. I am only giving 4 start because we only saw Dr Candela once and we are just at the beginning of the treatment.
